“I live in Gladstone, Missouri but was shopping on Facebook marketplace and found several items that I wanted to buy from this couple who live in Olathe, Kansas. Quite a long drive for me from Gladstone, Missouri. Especially when there's hardly any way to go across town right now without having to be stuck in traffic because of road construction. What a relief to meet this nice lady with all these cool things for me to buy for gifts mostly and we so enjoyed talking a bit. I bought her an iced tea and she said it was very good. I hadn't eaten and so I got the little egg bite omelets or whatever they are and they were absolutely delicious. Or maybe I was just all that hungry and I also got some kind of a fruity smoothie drink.
I really enjoyed talking to the cashier who is getting ready to leave the store when she happened to mention to somebody that she was living in Lawrence and going to the University of Kansas where she's finishing up her freshman year majoring in journalism and political science at the William Allen White School of Journalism there. She was she's a a end of her freshman year Scooter's Coffeehouse way out off K-10 highway in Lenexa, KS.“

“The team at this location are always so nice and upbeat! It can often get busy here, but they take it all in stride. They keep up great conversations with customers while working their butts off! Also, they make the drinks so GOOD. I actually live closer to another Dutch, but travel here because they just make ‘em better! Keep up the great work!“

“I went on Friday to get the Friday special, a 32oz for the price of a 20oz. I ordered the Hulk. I dont even remember what all was in it, but I do remember some bananas and I ordered it with coffee in it and some protein. I was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. I also was very impressed by the employees. Being a previous supervisor in a store, I know that its rare to have teens actually taking initiative to get the job done. There were 3 teens working in the front. All of them were working hard cleaning and serving the few customers that came in while we were there. They were not standing around talking or on their phones texting. They were wiping counters, cleaning the glass in front of the ingredients case. As we walked in a young man was wiping down the seats to disinfect them. It was great to see them working hard, working together, and taking pride in their work. I did make a point to let them know how great they are but i also want the owner to know.“

“I was in today and picked up my order. I usually go between a few locations as it depends on where I’m heading next. This is my favorite SK ever! The app order is always accurate (unlike others) and it’s usually waiting for me…again, unlike other locations. But today….they put my order in a protective bag to keep it safe from allergens. I have a food allergy and in all the years, this was a first! ❤️ Thankfully my reactions aren’t that severe, but there are many who fear contamination due to the severe reactions of just close proximity. “Hey, Smoothie King corporate, can we please get these poor teenagers some extra help? These two kids, who could not have been older than seventeen, were by themselves, manning the entire store alone. They did a fantastic job, mind you, but I could tell they were swamped and frustrated. That isn't fair at all.
If people don't want to work, PAY THEM MORE, so they stay employed. This is just absolutely insane. Or give these kids the ability to turn off online ordering so they aren't juggling a ton of tickets all at once.
I feel so awful for the staff at most of your stores. It's always one or two teenagers, fighting for their lives for minimum wage or just above.

Arguing about it and then saying we need to pay for them when it specifically says on the website that the edible lime straw comes with the mango drink! No problem though, we just took our 4-6 drink order (every day Mon-Fri) plus tip somewhere else. No need to be embarrassed in front of other people over a straw that comes with a drink.“

“This morning (10/10/21) around 8:45am there was a single employee working. She was taking all the orders and making them all herself. There was a line in the drive through in addition to the people inside. She was handling it like a champ and was still so friendly. We obviously gave her a tip because she deserved it, I just wish we could do more because she was an absolute legend. I hope management sees this and gives her the recognition she deserves. I just can't talk her up enough for handling what I would call an unbearably stressful situation.“
