I don't really think La Bodega has ever let me down. It's such a good friends-out-on-the-town choice, because you can order a bunch of tapas and try a little of a lot of things. But of course, as tapas are, don't be disappointed when the portions are small (definitely order 2 of something if you like it--i.e. the papas fritas con ajo). Great food, great wines, and an extensive selection of G&Ts. Their happy hour is full of fantastic options: nearly half the tapas are half off from 2-6 daily. Both this and the original location on Southwest Blvd are awesome.

I called the number for their Leawood location (the number listed on Google), but I think they redirected my call to their only open, downtown KC location though I didn’t know it. So I showed up to the Leawood spot to a completely closed restaurant ?
