“Great birthday celebration at Eddie Vs. The table was decorated when we arrived which was not expected. The high point was our server Tiffany. Can’t say enough about her service and attitude. She addressed everyone as “sir” or “madam” and even the kid as “young man” which he loved. Made suggestions to enhance the kids’ enjoyment of a special night out. “My husband and I drive from Omaha at least twice a year for date weekend and we always dine at Stock Hill. We love love love the ambience, service, food, all of it. It hits the mark for that dreamy, darkish, amber glow ambience, especially in the later months. This past weekend we went to KC on a whim and knew they were booked and decided we would be fine with a seat at the bar. When we inquired about a table for 2, the hostess explained that they were booked and could sit at the bar. We were totally great with that! But the “head honcho” came out of nowhere and told us he actually had a table for 2. The cherry on top? He proceeded to seat us at the table we first sat at when we went there for date weekend years ago. Thank you! 🥰“

“We've been coming here for over 60 years, even with the interruptions and changes. The ribeye was cooked to medium rare perfection, the asparagus was delicious as was the loaded baked potato. The bread was also very well made. All that was missing were the stockyards and the cattle lowing across the lot out back.“

“We had an outstanding evening at Firebirds wood Grill in Overland Park. The food was great. We enjoyed the atmosphere and our server. David was just outstanding. David spent the time to understand exactly what we wanted and he delivered! He was extremely personable and followed up quite often. This is a great place to go, and if you have the opportunity, please ask for David. You will not be disappointed.

“This was a cool little place! It had 3 dining options. The butcher shop, casual and fine dining. The fine dining was upstairs and just a little fancier. The casual was downstairs and was smaller. You could actually sit in the butcher shop and eat! They had meat for sale and the kitchen was in there too. Cool place. My husband got the meatloaf and I got the ribeye. Both were delicious!“
