“This place was fantastic! It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a “Happy Anniversary” by every staff member we encountered. When we got to our table, there was a card waiting with rose petals. I ordered the filet medallions, Oscar style. My steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender. My husband ordered the NY Strip and his was also perfect. We ordered a side of au gratin potatoes to share. They were cheesy and delicious. The patron margarita I had was also very good. At the end of dinner, they brought out complimentary champagne and dessert. The dessert was bananas foster, with ice cream and chocolate cookies. We drove down from Omaha for the night and decided it was worth the drive! We will definitely be back!“

“We had my husband's birthday party here. The staff was amazing and the steaks and chicken were delicious. I highly recommend the twice baked potato! Also the sampler appetizer was a hit. We ordered 2 for a table of 11 and everybody got a taste. The onion rings were the bomb. Then the staff brought out a cake I had brought with the candles, serving utensils, plates and forks on a trolly for us. It has a nice old fashion country decor and sits right near the rail road tracks. The trains going by just added to the ambiance. It was definitely worth the drive from Smithville!“

Food and drinks were exceptional and the staff were courteous and professional. Fine dining at affordable prices. We would dine again if we are ever in KC!“

“Came in for a drink after lunch at Lula's last month. My partner's always recommended this place, and after visiting I can understand why. We sampled the craft cocktail selection while chatting with the bartender, who was very patient and attentive. He told us about the area, his time there, and a few other places for drinks that we've yet to try. The drinks were under 50, tip included.

Parking: The location is right next to a stop on the Kansas City streetcar, so it's way more accessible than the average spot.“
