“We love Maps Coffee. We visit 4 to 5 times per week. It’s a great locally owned artisan shop and they roast their coffee in-house. I wasn’t a coffee drinker at all until Maps got me hooked. They also make their own chocolate and you can really taste the difference in quality from big-batch commercial chocolate. The staff is friendly and welcoming and within a few short visits they will call you by name and know your order. We always have great conversations with Vince and his team. I highly recommend you give them a try.“

“We adore our neighbors at Sway! We grab a coffee here nearly every day and brew our own with their beans when they are closed. They are a brilliant addition to the neighborhood, the smell of beans roasting in an inviting place to grab a beverage and a McLain’s bakery treat.“

“Lovely find of a shop. Biggest complaint is that their hours are not the best for me to be able to make it here more often while in town. Had two beverages during my visit, a cortado and an espresso. The cortado was good, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the balance of it and found the espresso to be too juicy for my tastes with milk. Was chatting with the barista and she made me an espresso, and it was hands down the best espresso I have had in KC. The crema, the body, everything was perfectly extracted. To my surprise it was one of the blends as they didn’t have the single origin dialed in anymore so close to closing time. The next time I am in the area I will hopefully be able to repeat the same experience as my first.“

“I met a couple of friends for coffee and pastries and the whole experience was so pleasant! The person who took my order was super friendly. The coffee hit the spot and was everything I wanted. We tried several pastries and all of them were delicious. We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the weather and the whole visit was perfect!“

“This is my go-to "work from home" coffee shop for a few hours in the morning. The drinks are good, but I've always been a fan of Roasterie Coffee. The only reason I didn't give them a 5th star, is they frequently turn up the music around 8am to an almost deafening level for a coffee shop. It's rather obnoxious and usually forces me to leave so I can continue to concentrate.“

“First time here! Finally made it to the OG location off southwest boulevard. There are factory tours offered and a great gift souvenir boutique. The coffee is always one of my KC favorites. I got the seasonal egg nog special and it did not disappoint. Hubby got black with a couple shots of dark chocolate, he said it was one of the better ones! We didn't try any food this time but there was a nice selection of pastries and wraps. Service was good and friendly. Lots of seating, a great place to work or hang out. “The sea salt dusted mocha chip cookie is amazing. The cappuccino was equally good. My only “complaint” is, why ask me if my order is to go or here. When I answer, “I’m going to savor the cookie and coffee here”, please don’t put the cookie in a paper bag and the coffee in a paper cup. I feel like I’ve been given a doggie bag. I am a guest in your place of business, and I’ve come in to relax, recharge and enjoy some quiet time; instead I felt rushed, drained and overwhelmed by the loud music.“
