“The food is amazing! My wife and I have tried a couple Mediterranean places before but this is by far the best we've had. If you like hummus or you've never had good tzatziki topped salad you have to try it.Dietary restrictions: Excellent options for lactose-free and shellfish allergies“

“Looking for something different to try, give Nick The Greek a try. It is great way to leave the country with out leaving the country.I started with dessert! If you love sweet and sour lemon, this dessert is for you! It is a lovely, tasty experience.I finished with a Gyro (lamb) Plate. It comes with tasty lamb cuts, cucumber sauce, yellow rice, pita bread, and a side salad.“

“Had a great experience trying Nick the Greek for the first time! I perused the menu before going in so I knew exactly what I wanted to order. I ordered the beef/lamb gyro with fries and a drink. Everything got to me in a reasonable time and was absolutely hot and fresh. The gyro itself was loaded with meat and I loved their tzatziki sauce. This is where my one complaint comes from though but it is personal preference. If you like a lot of sauce I would ask for extra. I can never have enough of the tzatziki The fries were really good and had a good seasoning on them. I will say too, one order is enough for two people! I want to try the Greek fries next time which has feta! I will definitely be back again!“
“Best falafel wrap in the city. Incredibly delicious chicken gyro. And for $7 each?!? It's like some kind of beautiful dream.Plus: a great Middle Eastern grocery selection! The people who run it are super nice, too. Just a win-win all around.Do yourself a favor and get some food here!“

“The Greek charcuterie board(flat bread, olives, cucumber slices, greek yogurt and hummus dips) were amazingly good. But the tortellini with white sauce had mushy tortellini noodles($35) I've had way better, but my husband loved the fish of the day. (Sea salt encrusted baked fish, I'm not sure...but around $45) Only fish, no side dishes. Overall, the flatbread board was sooo good....everything else...way over priced. And ok.“

“I cannot express how happy I was to see that this place was still open more than 20 years after my first visit. The food was every bit as delicious as I remembered, and the service was genuine hospitality. Definitely try the Jerusalem style gyro, the mint tea served traditional style with fresh mint leaves, and you must get the kunafa - it is the one that I judge all other kunafas by.“

“I was craving a Gyro, and this place came up. I didn’t think much of it at first, but I was compelled to leave a review.First off: I was kind of in a hurry, but had time to sit down and enjoy something, and was in and out in about 15 minutes. While the staff might not have the greatest grasp of conversational English, I was VERY well taken care of, and left a very happy guy.I had a lamb Gyro, which was perfectly seasoned and superbly cooked, and the portion size was on point for the price. It was crispy enough to have a nice crunch, but juicy, tender and bursting with flavor. The hummus was a hit too, along with their fresh pita. I had to ask for more pita, and got it complimentary. It was the perfect balance of price and portion so much, I got to take half home for lunch tomorrow. I’m very happy to have found this place because it seems sort of hidden amongst the other shops along Johnson Drive, but next time I’m in the area, this will be my go-to.Kid-friendliness: Kinzi made me a happy boy.“

“I'm on business from out of town. Let me tell you. THIS FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. So tasty. Authentic. The flavors are on point. I have had a lot of great food in Overland Park this week. But this is hands down one of my favorite. I am sad I won't be able to have this delicious food again. If you are from the area and haven't had The Basha you have clearly been missing out. Just amazing. I can't even get Kunafa where I live. So to be able to enjoy it at this level of quality is a true experience.“

“So, let me start by saying: if you like Greek food and find yourself in the area, then don’t hesitate to go to this place. Food is great, service is great, prices are in line with the menu offerings. Lots of unique options too. Moussaka a la cart … brilliant! Moreover, delicious… I’m a moussaka snob and this one is a win. I was in KC for a week, and I went back again… nuff said. Portions appropriate, meat is good quality. I refuse to give 5 stars to any place because I want room to grow, but next I return to KC, I’ll be back! Cheers with appreciation.“

“Had the beef souvlaki. The portions are pretty reasonable, a good value, but it was not served on a skewer. You just have the feeling that it's not totally authentic, but it's still tasty.Restaurant is spacious, nice large booths, but you bus your own table.“

“Always the best! The lunch special is always a big Greek salad and a sandwich. Their salad dressing is simple but very tasty. I always get the gyro sandwich. The pita bread is fresh, warm, and tender. It's stuffed to the max with gyro neat. This isn't the packaged stuff. It's thinly sliced from the big vertical grill. Well seasoned and crispy around the edges. Add tomatoes and onions, garnish with the tzatziki sauce, and enjoy. In the unlikely event you're still hungry, hit the Greek pastry case.“

“My favorite middle eastern restaurant. Nationally recognized and delicious lentil soup, great baba ganoush, nice hummus with a green chili sauce, good dolmas, etcThe Jasmine's combo is hard to miss. The cauliflower zahra is also quite good.Great options whether you're looking for some veg fare or not.Features: Dining in is open.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes. They generally know what you mean when you order vegan. They will make the Jasmine's Vegetarian Combo vegan - by removing the feta and Krass Pastry and adding a little extra of something else.Really good Middle Eastern food, on par with Holy Land Cafe.“

“Despite all the bad jokes and movie one liners about "gas station food" Papou makes it work. This Mediterranean restaurant is located in the convenience store of a small gas station and the food is really good. The gyros are hot and tasty what do you have as a sandwich, or with a side of rice. I especially enjoyed their falafel sandwiches, because it's hard to find falafel in the Kansas City area. People are always friendly and there's a few tables to sit and eat quietly.“
“Very good & always fresh. Service has always been great as well. I usually place my order online before I pick-up, and it's typically ready when I arrive. Sometimes I may have to wait a couple of mins, but it's usually no longer than that - which is no worries because the food is always hot..I can wait for that. Their truck is usually parked in the same location, which is good bc I know exactly where to go. Convenient if you're Out South/Leawood area. I love their chicken option!“

“Nice place to eat. Prices were reasonable and the food was good. I don’t recommend the potato and garlic dip plate, it didn’t taste bad it just tasted like mashed up cold potato salad with pita bread which is ok just not what we were expecting especially for the $8.50 price. People were nice and the place was clean. All self serviced meals and drinks.“

“Tried to go here at least once per week for lunch in the past few weeks. Each time they have been closed, although Google and posted hours say they should be open. I saw at least one other person posted about this. I also have observed at least one other person there each time who found it was closed. Need to change posted hours or be open during posted hours. One more time and I won't try anymore.“
