I loved being in this diner. I ordered the bacon and egg sandwich (no cheese) and it was exceptional. The bacon. Was. Exceptional. I only wish it was on a kaiser roll, as sliced bread (even the good slices here) just doesn’t tend to hold on. I think I hold sandwiches wrong? But anyway, I look forward to coming back here any time I’m in Lucas!!! Delicious homemade food. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked appealing with large servings. We had their special - freshly made pulled pork sandwich, piled high on a large toasted bun, served with a side salad, homemade baked beans and potato salad, with tea or coffee for $10.95.
