Penny's Diner Reviews
Wife and I are both glad we chose this diner, what a fun time. I had the Frisco burger and it was cooked to perfection, hot and delicious! My wife had the Penny’s Pride and she absolutely loved it. We both appreciated the fact that our burgers were cooked to order, nothing sitting around. We made some local acquaintances and had a nice conversation about the local area. Anna very efficiently took our breakfast orders, went behind the counter to the grill and whipped up 3 different meals. She then delivered them to our table all at the same time. All of the food was hot, tasty and presented cheerfully. Kudos to Anna.
Terry the cook does an amazing job, I stopped in on a Monday morning and he was working alone and handling it like a boss.
He made me the #3 and it was delicious. Nice coffee also, Terry was very busy but very friendly and that is an Asset.

Penny's Diner offers tasty homestyle food in a cozy, small-town setting. The diner is known for its 24/7 availability, which is rare for a small town. Customers praise the friendly staff, good prices, and delicious burgers, fries, and breakfast items like pancakes, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The atmosphere has a nostalgic, retro theme that many find inviting and cute. The Western Bacon Burger was reportedly cooked and presented well, and the chicken fried steak is considered the best by some, easily cut with a fork. The cook is friendly and even makes the mashed potatoes himself, which are highly recommended.
However, there have been issues with customer service, including long waits, possible rudeness, and some cleanliness concerns, especially around the tables and behind the counter. There have also been reports of problems with the QR code menu and a cheeseburger served without a bun. Despite these issues, many guests enjoy the classic diner experience, the tasty homestyle dishes, and the welcoming atmosphere. Penny's Diner remains a popular spot for those seeking good food and a nostalgic, small-town feel.
