Absolutely a ton of fun. I was there during remodeling, but it was great. The food was very good and the beer was cold. I met Jerry & his wife. Both went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a wonderful evening. I feel like if you’re just passing thru as we were that evening it is well worth stopping for an adult beverage, and if I lived there I’d probably go every day lol.

A few of my motorcycle friends stopped in at 1890 the other day. This is going to be a stop on our route from Atchison to Topeka.
The 1890 Ice House is a nice and spacious place on main street, currently growing and making changes. It is a good venue for live music, bringing great talent to a small town. The new outside area is very nice. The legendary pulled pork sandwich is highly recommended. Everyone is very friendly, giving off a maw and paw experience. It is a regular stop and should not be missed.
