“Ok folks this place is awesome! The long wait is over. It sure didn't disappoint on the service and pub food. The food is outstanding. Hats off to the cook or cooks! The menu has excellent pub grub. Not bar food at all. Fresh and delicious. I had the Chili Cheese Dog. The dog was excellent and would love to know where they buy them! The chili was made from scratch! Best chili cheese dog I have eaten. The pizza come in all serving sizes and looked delicious. The bar staff is engaging and are actually happy to see you! My new spot!“

Our server was excellent!!! She was so engaging and helpful.
My wife got the Philly. She wasn't impressed.
I got the TENDERLOIN. It was STUPENDOUS. Huge, tender, moist and glorious.
It was so very good.
The battered fries were also very good
The chairs were TERRIBLE They hurt our backs.

“This has to be one of the strangest bars I've ever been to, but I welcome it. A former funeral home, turned bar, it has a unique atmosphere. Yeah, it's cash only, but that's not a big deal. They have antique pinball machines and a good selection.“

“My 1st private dive bar experience in KC and this place is epic. Enjoy good pours and less expensive drinks and know that they're cash only. The regulars are inviting and seem to know everyone. Good place to pass time after a Royals game or for a nightcap. No food, but there is Golden Tee and a jukebox.“

“Great place for late night burgers on a Thursday night! Our bartender was very sweet and friendly. The full menu was still available near midnight and food came out quickly! We definitely found a new late night spot! I originally ordered take out but it was so fast and looked so good I ate half of it before leaving!“
“My husband and I popped in here before seeing a comedy show & T-Mobile Center not knowing anything about the place, and wow we loved it! The bartender Robin is so personable and good at what she does. The divey atmosphere had us feeling right at home. Not to mention, finding reasonably priced drinks downtown is practically unheard of! We ended up stopping back by after the show, and plan to come back any time we are in the area. Thank you Robin & Zoo Bar for a great experience!“

“Lucky Boys is a classic bar & lounge in the West Bottoms of Kansas City that offers great bar drinks and excellent bar food items. Some of their food options include pizza, poutine fries, burgers, phillys & more.
Thursday night is pizza night at Lucky Boys. We ordered a vodka sauce pizza with cheese, pepperoni, jalapeños, mushrooms, and arugula…YUM! If you go on a night that poutine is on the menu…do NOT miss out because they serve the best poutine fries I’ve ever had! There is a even a pool table here if you enjoy playing pool.
I highly recommend checking out Lucky Boys while exploring in the KC West Bottoms.“

“Fun local dive bar. No food but they have a few snacks for purchase, sometimes coffee cake next to the free coffee station and a popcorn machine (not always in use). Couple dart boards in the back. a gold game and a gambling card game too on the bar. Covered deck in the back. Not a lot of options for beers, but good specials and fair prices in general. They make their own moonshine, and it is DELICIOUS. Apple Pie and Peach are king (to be fair I didn't try the other 2), peach tastes like fresh peach nectar. Highly recommend.“

“Great place if you like dive bars and darts. They have a patio out back if you need some air or a smoke break. Never have had an issue with staff. I've had nice experiences popping in here alone and also brining a group of ten-ish people in.“

“We have been to strips several times, and on a few occasions brought friends with us. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff members are so friendly and helpful. I love the chicken strips and the honey mustard sauce. My son and husband were so happy when we found strips because they LOVE the gluten free chicken nuggets, fries and onion strips. They are all delicious.“
