Taqueria La Nueva is a food truck that has built a strong fan base for its authentic Mexican food. The tacos are described as the best street tacos around in KS, very authentic, and super flavorful, with a good amount of meat. The burrito is called absolutely fantastic, with incredibly fresh ingredients, packed with flavor, a generous portion size, and perfectly wrapped. The tortas are flavorful and big in size, with rich asada and a perfect combination of vegetables, including a cebolla that is sweet and caramelized. The horchata was a little bit watery but got better the more you drank it. The al pastor tasted rich as well, missing the pineapples if you like that. For a food truck, it is top tier, with tables outside and a cover from the elements. Taco tuesday is a must, with any meat taco for 2$, including Lengua and tripa, and more meat selection than other spots. The habenero hot sauce is a must for the hot tolerant. The food is phenomenal every single time, even through DoorDash, with all the sauces and extras included, everything fresh, and packaged really well. A handwritten note on the bag said, “Thank you. Have a great day!” You can tell they care about their customers. It is a solid food truck, preferred over the main brick and mortar door in OP.
