This restaurant had some serious hygiene issues. I truly hate writing this review but they definitely need to be careful. The server is dripping in perspiration and it’s falling all over the food. The other server had her gloves in the coffee. The food and the overall experience is amazing. The aircon is down so it’s a sweat shop. I just don’t feel healthy dining here. We decided not to dine
I tried the Buffet today. It is very delicious, every thing fresh and tasted authentic. Liked the pakora, Gobi, batura, Aloo parata, rajma & Paneer curry. The sambar and curd rice are as usual great taste. The beetroot desert was refreshing and new..
Very delighted..
Excellent customer service, food was awesome!
Food is really good and I think it's the only restaurant in overland park where all food items are tasty..customer service is also really good.
Really great food in a way that tastes distinct from other Indian restaurants around here! Highly recommend.
Hope they get better management. Went there for the first time and its 11:30 in the morning and said we won’t be able to serve and have to wait 30 minutes since they are preparing for catering and other.
Amulya was so good at receiving, delivering our order. I tried Gobi biryani and it tasted good, the quantity was enough for almost for 2 persons though I just ordered for one. This is my second visit to the restaurant. And will revisit soon.
This is some of the best South Indian food, I’ve ever had in KC!!
The food and atmosphere brought me instant nostalgia of my times in Chennai, India! The food was delicious and authentic, and the service was very friendly. The menu was full of authentic Indian options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. We will definitely be back for more!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
I’m from Coimbatore and I know how much of happiness does a good south Indian thali gives. Chettinad fails at it. The pricing for the variety of items they provided was not worth it. For a $20 veg thali you are just given some bad tasting rasam, sambar and other curries. No curry for chapati, the papad was not crispy, too much salt. Just one vegetable. Normally there will be 2 to 3 vegetables. No finishing desserts like payasam which is a must for thali.
The service was not good. I had to wait 2-5 minutes each time when I ask for an item.
The AC was not working properly and most of the customers were just sweating. Even the employees. Not providing a proper ambiance is just crazy🙄
No wonder they only had 7-10 people in the restaurant at a peak time.

I loved it! Ordered the podi dosa. It was so crispy and delicious.
The food is delicious, 100% recommended 😮💨
We ordered masala dosa and kotthu parotta and tea. Everything was hot, flavorful, and delicious! Superb service as well
Visited Chettinad Restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. We tried the unlimited veg thali, served on a banana leaf, which added a nice traditional touch. The food was very tasty and flavorful. The staff was polite and attentive. I’d definitely like to visit again.
Tasty South Indian Thali food had in Midwest. Variety of dishes and good taste of South Indian Meals.
