“My daughter-in-law planned my son's surprise 40th birthday party at Parlor. She is not on Facebook, but so enjoyed coordinating with them that she asked me to post the following: -- I had the pleasure of planning my husband's surprise 40th birthday party at Parlor on March 7 '24. We had approximately 70 guests in their basement (The Cellar), including young children, adults, and seniors. From beginning to end, every communication with Parlor's team was a delight. I started coordinating with Izzy Vivas in September '23; it is unfortunate that she is no longer with Parlor - she was great!! Luckily for me, my event was handed over to Justin Pamatmat in January - Justin is also great!! On the day of the event, everyone at Parlor was friendly, relaxed, and helpful. I was able to enjoy myself in planning this event because the team is wonderful to work with! Apart from the team, Parlor itself is an excellent venue. The Cellar was perfect for our event; spacious, fun, and vibrant. I received many compliments on finding the space- and I wouldn't be surprised if Parlor gets more business in private events from this. I'm sure that's the norm, though :) I should mention that there WAS one big hiccup at Parlor on the day of our event: the main level with all of its kitchens was closed due to a problem with the water heater. Crazily, that did not at all negatively impact our enjoyment! Parlor was so accommodating to us- they remained open with a portable water heated that they dedicated entirely to our event and permitted outside food to feed our guests. I heard many say that they would have to come back to try some of the food (as will I!) :) The guests who have eaten at Parlor before paid compliments, so the food must be good! Thank you all SO MUCH! My husband had a wonderful birthday party, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end.“

“Is it weird to have fun at the Costco Food Court? We did! It's been a long time since I grabbed something to eat here, and it's evolved. Very efficient to order from the kiosk, and staff members Dennise and Athena were getting orders ready with speed and wit, definitely made us smile. Also a good place for for people watching. Glad to see waste bins for recycling, composting, and landfill.The hot dog is still cheap and comes with a fountain drink (not pictured). There's still a self-serve condiment station for ketchup, mustard, and relish, and later I discovered that now you can grab onions and croutons prepackaged at the pick-up counter.Tried the Cold Brew Latte Freeze, a basic blended latte served on tap from a slushy machine. (The Mocha version is the same plus chocolate syrup; no other flavor options.) Not life changing, but a fine option for a dose of sweet chilled caffeine.“
