“Stopped by after dinner tonight (8-15-26). What a lovely bar in KC. Recommend the Japanese whiskey flight and the kitsune cocktail. Isabella took great care of us and you can tell she’s passionate about the bar and Japanese whiskey. Will be back - fantastic high end bar in KC!“

“The food and cocktails were excellent. We tried the burnt ends, and they melted in your mouth. The fried green tomato sandwich was great. The pimento cheese appetizer was tasty too. The service was also excellent. After all of that, I decided it was easier to take the slide to the first floor.“

“Hillsiders is a cozy neighborhood bar in Strawberry Hill. Great drinks, fast service and lots of different live music most nights of the week. Fantastic bartenders and a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Make sure to check out the back patio as well!“

“Staying at the Hilton Presidents Hotel in downtown Kansas City we stopped by the Drum Room located on property and accessed via hotel lobby or its side entrance. Good and atmosphere were so good we ate there 2 times. Started with Fried Goat Cheese and Beet Salad and finished with the KC Beach Burger with garlic fries and Meatball Farfalle pasta dish. All were amazing and didn’t venture far on our second visit and skipped the salad as the 3 items were way too much on the first evening. Second evening we shared a bottle of Sav Blanc from N.Z. Amazing.“

“Food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I messed up my cocktail order and my waiter fixed it for me quickly. Their ribeyes are divine. My husband also enjoyed their oysters. We skipped dessert, but the options looked tasty! It’s a little cool so I’d recommend a sweater if you’re a woman or a blazer/sweater if you’re a male to stay warm. It’s very cozy. We’ll be back!“

“My wife and I celebrated our 54th anniversary tonight at Eddie V’s. The food was terrific and our waiter Eric Ewing took awesome care of us. He guided us through the menu selections and counseled us on our selections. The manager Adam Von Spreecken checked on us often to make sure our dinning experience was spectacular. My wife and I can’t wait to return for another fabulous dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“The vibes of Nighthawk are great. It’s a very fun place to go to end a night out with some moody lighting and live music. Only downside is their seltzer options. They only have their own house made seltzers and the ones my group tried really just tasted like a mix of fake sugar and perfume. Would much rather have just a high noon or even a local KC Quirk! They do have a full bar so I would honestly suggest just getting something else to drink while you enjoy the music and ambiance!“

“Had a large group of 20+, yet the service and the quality of the food was as if we were in our own little corner of a high-end restaurant. I had the salmon which was delicious and came with asparagus and fantastic risotto. The peach cannolis were a great dessert. Others had pasta, vegetarian options, or chicken and were equally enjoying the experience. Great location and fun, rooftop ambience.“
