We were greeted the minute we walked in and the owner and the servers were very welcoming and caring and communicated with us… food tasted amazing and large portions… definitely worth waiting for a table… I swing by this place in my way to Texas and on my way back. Always clean and the food and the service is amazing. Try the mint tea. Wow

Best falafel and hummus combo in OP. Don’t go anywhere else to get mine. 10/10. Very nice people and great atmosphere. Very authentic food.

Our first visit to Yafa Cafe and everything was amazing. We were there at 2pm on a Saturday and the place was busy! We ordered the hummus appetizer which was amongst the best we’ve had. Also ordered the chicken kabab plate and the chicken shawarma plate - both excellent. They came with a choice of sides so one of us got the salad and the other the lentil soup which were both very good. We will definitely be back!

Best Palestinian food in town

Food was fresh and service was excellent. I had the gyro platter, lentil soup, with a finish of baklava (one walnut and one pistachio). I couldn't say which was better. All were delicious!

This place was suggested to me by some friends who have eaten here several times. It is located in a little strip mall, and the inside is basic but very clean and welcoming. I ordered food to go and it was fantastic! The menu is very extensive, so there are lots of choices, and the portion sizes were very big. The proprietors were also very welcoming and open to modifications based on dietary restrictions. My friends whom I took the food to loved it as well. I would definitely come back here!

I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!
