“This is the perfect spot for a morning coffee in downtown Wichita. I was pleasantly surprised to find Mexican Cafe de Olla here. The food was just as good as in Oaxaca, and it arrived right to our table after we ordered. The burritos and baked muffins were particularly delicious. I uploaded new menus.“

“today kyle and I stopped at rhe vag for a drink after walking along the river to view the fireworks. I was nervous about the 4th, as our current political situation is not favorable, and I didn't want to be around a ton of republicans. turns out, we had a great evening, and became well acquainted with some new friends. also some girl ordered an espresso martini. it looked pretty good but stay in your lane. this is a dive bar. get over yourself and order a mystery beer like everyone else.“

“Went to the Egg Crate for the very 1st time with my family. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and green beans. The service was excellent as my drink was always topped of by the gracious waitress. The biscuit was delicious, especially when I smothered it in butter and jelly! The chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy in the outside and perfectly tender on the outside. I especially loved the variety of sauces and dips from my fries! The meal was very filling as I ended up sharing my fries with my neices and nephews (as they were eagerly waiting for me to "throw in the towel" so they could gobble them up!) Along with the delicious food the atmosphere of the diner has a really cozy atmosphere with a lot of fun themed country style decor. I am looking forward to visiting the Egg Crate Cafe on my future visits from Colorado!“

I happened to notice the name change and it peaked my curiosity. 😱 the crazy creativity these people possess in the art of bagel making, just left me speechless! “My first time in this evening and i was very impressed. The waiter explained several dishes and recommended a few items as well. We chose the calamari which was huge and not chewy at all. Very nice! Also artichoke dip. I loved the pita breadbut wasn’t a fan of the chip it was super hard and i couldn’t really bite through it. Otherwise it was also fantastic. I opted for that trio kabob with mushroom risotto and veggies which were cooked perfectly. The brandy sauce and peppercorn something or other weren’t my favorite and i’m glad i chose them on the side. However the kabobs were cooked perfectly and the steak was so easy to chew. Kudos to the staff for keeping the place super clean and organized and the kitchen crew for making some amazing dishes this evening!“
