“I love The Mall Deli. I go there quite often with my husband, mom and sister. My mom always gets their chili without beans. She loves it. I have gotten it a few times with beans. It is great. The chef salad is really good also. The sandwiches are great. They are fast at seating you and taking your order. The staff is friendly. They make you feel welcome. The place is clean. You can't go wrong at The Mall Deli .... We love it !!!!”

Good service, the atmosphere was chill; the place wasn't packed but it wasn't dead either. The "by the game" tables are 50¢ per game, and the food and drink are reasonably priced.”

I expected an old fashioned chicken place in business for as long as you've been would have old fashioned biscuits too, actually that's what I was looking forward to. Unfortunately the sliced white bread was a poor substitute. Something to think about.”

“A STUNNING little coffee shop with a roasting area in the back! They source their beans from all over the world & roast them here! The coffee menu is extensive & they offer all types of syrups and milk options. Whole milk is standard, but they also have skim, oat milk, and almond milk.
Upon entering we were greeted kindly by the barista who explained the menu. We chose several drinks and enjoyed them in the beautiful area with the plants and the sunshine.
We ordered the beach bum 1/2 sweet with skim milk. 10/10

“My job has me visiting convenience stores all over the states of Kansas and Missouri, I’ve been doing food in c-stores for almost 20 years, and this has to be one of the most impressive stores I’ve visited. The pizza is awesome and made fresh from scratch, super clean store and some the friendliest staff and ownership I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Check these guys out if you haven’t already, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Fairly good food. Hot and sour soup appetizer had way too many onions. I had a kung pao chicken with added pork. The pork unfortunately was kind of tough and chewy. Overall flavor was good. Fried rice was a little unusual recipe, kind of bland. I might return. Still a good meal.”

“Great place for a quick bite, grab and go snack, or a sit down meal! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of the customers are students so it is a lot more relaxed and friendly environment than fast food or a restaurant. Prices are a little lower than traditional restaurants. Variety of food cannot be beat. From grilled bbq ribs, to pizza slices, to salads, or burgers and so much in between! While may be busier than some other places at certain times and days I would say an overall better experience than most typical places to eat in town.”

“I know it is not the same as the original that I had eaten at since I can remember, 1960 to be sure. Tonight I stop by, knowing they were busy, being a single person I had first asked the bar tender whom at one time was a nice guy, tonight he said I guess you could eat at the bar, but it will not make it any quicker. I wasn't really looking for quicker. So I stepped back to the hostess, whom wasn't at their station when I walked in. I asked if it was okay to sit at the bar, knowing I had done so before with no issue. according to her it was a big no and said it would be at least an hour to sit down, with a couple small tables in the bar area empty. I will no longer go to a place that I loved eating at, even years later under new ownership. I have friends whom come over from Independence to eat and I will advise them of the same as I have here. thanks but no thanks any more. keep your rude people.”
