Restaurantji's Pittsburg guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“Mom & I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. I had the chimichanga & she had tacos & the chicken soup. Truly delicious! Very pleasant & quick service. We don't get to Pittsburg often at all, but we know where to eat when we do.“
“Start out your dining experience with some complimentary chips and salsa. I like the fact we each got a personal bowl to dip in. Salsa tasty and not too spicy hot. Food arrived fast and piping hot. We have eaten here before as well as a similar restaurant called the same name, back in Colorado. Fair priced as far as today's world goes. Staff kind and very attentive. All 3 of our party members got something different and we were all ok with our meals. I did need a doggie bag for mine. Portions we'll sized“
“Due to a vehicle breakdown, I was stranded in Pittsburgh Kansas and luckily found this little place for a bunch of delicious food and drinks!! The Sangria margaritas were delicious and strong, and the food was surprisingly tasty!! The service here was excellent!! The atmosphere was very fitting for a Tex-mex restaurant! I ate way too much like always, but it was so worth it!! If I ever get back over this way, I will definitely be back!!“
“Since I wrote my first review in 2013, the restaurant is now in a new and larger location. I don't especially like the interior/exterior, but the food is excellent. I highly recommend the Pollo Tapatio, which I get every time we are there. Service is usually spot on, especially when the owner is there. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Pittsburg/Fort Scott area. You have to go to Joplin or Springfield to find better. There is another restaurant in Lamar by the same name, but the food is not the same, way too salty!“
