Salty Iguana Reviews
First time at this location since Olathe's closed. Same great food and service. My favorite Mexican restaurant. Not everything is covered in cilantro, which is a huge plus since I don't like it. Chips and salsa are the best of any Mexican restaurants I go to.
One of the best places in Prairie Village.
Some food was okay, but some was not good. Service was very poor. I will avoid this particular location. In the past, I've really enjoyed this restaurant, so I am disappointed to write this review.
The Salty Iguana is a family-friendly restaurant, though it can be noisy at times. While their margaritas may not be the highlight, they offer tasty beef and fish tacos, as well as delicious guacamole. Some customers find the prices higher than before and the food just okay, while others praise the excellent dishes, such as the chicken flauta and the Iguana dip. Customers have generally had positive experiences with the service. The restaurant has maintained its great food and service, and it remains a favorite Mexican restaurant for many. The chips and salsa are consistently praised as the best among local Mexican eateries. However, some recent visits have resulted in poor service and mixed food quality, leading to disappointment. The restaurant offers a typical American-style Mexican menu, which may not fully satisfy those seeking more traditional Latin flavors. Overall, the Salty Iguana provides a solid dining experience, with the potential for both enjoyable and less satisfactory visits.
