“I knew today was national root beer float day and I read that all locations were doing it! However, this location has selected to not participate in it for many years! However, the guy at the counter Tim C still honored it for us and gave us a free root beer float for it! If that is not amazing customer service I don’t know what it is! Also, there cheese curds always hit the right spot! Love eating them!”

“I stopped in Russell for an overnight stay on my way to Denver. Dinner choices aren’t plentiful but I did see Peking Garden as an option. I ordered their house fried rice which included shrimp, chicken and beef. I also ordered their egg rolls. You had to order by phone and when they picked up I honestly had a hard time understanding them but I was able to get the order made. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes. So I got ready and drove over there but got there a little early. When I went to the restaurant it wasn’t very impressive and the door into the restaurant wasn’t very stable. But I was met by a very friendly waitress and my meal was already packaged. I paid and went back to my hotel. Bottom line is this meal was one of the best I've had. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. Hard to imagine a Chinese restaurant like this in Russel, KS but it is definitely worth stopping and getting some amazing food. I will be heading back that way and will order again from these wonderful folks.”

“It's subway, so we're not talking gourmet food here. But as Subway restaurants go, this one is exceptional. I've visited twice in the last week. The staff are friendly and positive and they are ON TOP of cleaning! My mom left her glasses, and she called to see if they had them and they are shipping them to her!”
