“Stopped in 12/3/24 with hubby for a 30 minute lunch and had their $9.99 Chix burger with fries and a drink. The fries were old and cold but my hubby said to leave it alone. (Waitress was awesome). Then on 12/5 we went back for the $9.99 hamburgers with fries n drink. This time I asked them to make sure the fries were fresh and hot. Applebees burger was better than Longhorn’s hamburger meal! We got to meet the GM and enjoyed speaking with her. We will be back but I’ll have to order online because I’m on a tight lunch schedule…30 minutes!“

“I didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The special of the day was chicken fried chicken, always a favorite. Jim's version wasn't bad. Nicely cooked, if a little gristly. The potatoes were decent, but the gravy was the winner. It had a subtle chicken flavor to it, almost like they used chicken seasoning instead of salt. That set it apart.
The building looks like it started as a drive-in restaurant of some sort, but it's been remodeled nicely. Now it has a cute down-home feel to it. The two women who were working were friendly.
There was a salad bar, but it wasn't part of the special so we didn't try it. It looked decent though, if small.
In all, we'll go back next time we're in the area.“

“Blink your eyes and you will miss this place, but definitely worth the stop.The Burger Theory is in the Holiday Inn so not your typical layout for a burger placebut don't let that fool you burgers were amazing and appetizers are half price on Sunday ...might I recommend the Fire Shrimp while I'm at it. You can get onions rings for a dollar more just get the fries because these aren't your everyday fries not sure what's on them but wow they are good.“

“Do I drink, absolutely not. Did I enjoy the food and atmosphere? Yes! Great atmosphere, great food, and the bartenders are beyond great. Oh and their appetizers are apparently half price from 8p.m-10p.m from monday-thursday. As you can tell, we enjoyed.“

“If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, excellent service, and an all-around fantastic atmosphere, look no further than Old Chicago in Salina! My recent visit was nothing short of outstanding, and I’m already looking forward to my next trip. From start to finish, everything was absolutely wonderful. First off, the service deserves a huge shoutout. Cody was phenomenal! She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure we were completely satisfied. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. She was quick to answer any questions, kept our drinks topped off without us even having to ask, and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find someone as dedicated to creating such a positive dining experience as Cody was—she truly went above and beyond. And then there’s the food—oh, the food! If you’re a pizza lover, you absolutely must try the Chicago Love Pizza. It’s hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust was perfectly baked with just the right amount of crispiness, and the toppings were so fresh and flavorful. You could tell a lot of thought and care went into creating such a masterpiece. The balance of flavors was spot-on, with the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings that all worked together beautifully. Honestly, it’s the bomb—there’s no better way to describe it! The rest of the menu looked fantastic as well, and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen made us want to order even more. But what stood out the most was how everything, from the food to the service, felt like it was prepared with care and attention to detail. The atmosphere at Old Chicago is warm and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal with family or friends. Whether you’re there for a quick bite, a celebration, or just a casual night out, it’s the perfect spot. I can’t recommend Old Chicago in Salina enough. With Cody’s outstanding service and their incredible Chicago Love Pizza, it’s a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience—we’ll definitely be returning soon!“

“We had our two grandkids from K.C. with us. It was Adele's 11th BD June 13th and she and her brother wanted to spend it at The Alley. Ryan, Asst. GM was very friendly and helpful when Adele and Alistair (8) gave him our order and then he served us. PS: He deserves a raise! Bonnie We live on a farm in North Dickinson County.“

“Have to give a huge shout out to Chilli's in Salina.
Our plans for our parents 50th wedding anniversary supper turned bad quickly at 5:30. So we called Chilli's to see if they could accommodate a group of 21 at 6pm. They said sure and let us know if there is anything we need and they would get it for us. They even put the cake in the fridge. We had two young men as our servers and they were awesome, hands down. Eli was one of them sorry I didn't get the other guys name. Even the manager came by twice and asked if everything was OK. All the food came out correctly and pretty quick considering the amount of food we all ordered at the same time.“

7/16 came back for the Monte Crisco and it was great! Not too heavy, raspberry preserves (smooth no seeds) on the side. Also had the broccoli salad and it was a great lunch!“
