The Hoof & Horn Steakhouse Reviews
went there tonight. my husband and I ordered a filet medium. when we got our food my husbands steak was raw. cold in the middle raw. the waitress took it back to be cooked. she then brought back this cut in small pieces tough poor excuse for a steak. We were still charged for the steak that he could not eat. we will never go there again and do not recommend.
Waited a half hour tonight and not one waitress talked to us h til we walked out. They thanked us, not sure what we did, but they were sure to thank us for coming.
Won’t return to this place again. Don’t need an old white man who’s out of touch with most of society preaching about politics to me.

Cy's Hoof and Horn Supper Club offers good service and friendly staff. The restaurant features a cowboy-themed interior that creates a warm, homey atmosphere. While some dishes may be overpriced, the food is generally pleasant, with great options like cooked-to-perfection sirloin and delicious green beans. The wait for food can be lengthy, especially when the place is busy, but attentive waitstaff can make up for it with excellent customer service. Recent visitors enjoyed the food, noting that the steak was good and the overall setting had a small town charm. One customer mentioned that the prices are a bit high for the quality, especially for items like the $50 8oz filet mignon, but appreciated the top-notch server. Overall, the restaurant provides a decent dining experience with hearty meals and a cozy, rustic ambiance. Some guests expressed disappointment when all the fried items seemed coated with the same breading and fried in the same oil, making the dishes less unique. During lunchtime, the Chicken Fried Chicken with Baked Potato and salad, as well as the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich with Tator Tots, were praised for their taste and attentive service. One reviewer highlighted that the chicken-fried steak at Hoof & Horn is very good—huge, crispy, tender, and served with decent cream gravy—making it a serious contender even for those used to Texas standards. The interior might be dark and dated, but it is clean, and the staff, including Kylie, provides friendly and attentive service. While it’s not on a main highway, the restaurant is worth a small detour for those seeking hearty meals in a cozy, rustic setting.
