We went with my son and DiL. They found this treasure upon moving here and wanted to share it with us. I am a chicken fried steak fan and was not disappointed- delicious, good sized portions. The gravy was delicious with the right amount of pepper and chunks of sausage. The BLT was small and not very filling. My daughter, granddaughter and I came in for lunch and we had a very pleasant experience. The food was very good and there were no complaints on our part as to the quality. The service was excellent and we had our food within about 20 minutes of ordering. I found this to be quite adequate as I experienced the same amount of wait time at other "sit-down" family style restaurants.

I come here for lunch every so often. The food is always wonderful, freshly made, and home cooked.My favorites are the bacon cheeseburger and chicken fried steak. Even when it is busy during lunch, the server does a fantastic job! Highly recommend if you are looking for a local, home cooked, classic meal!
