I come here every year during La Fiesta Mexicana just to buy a couple dozen tamales! Reminds me of my youth in New Mexico. If you want authentic taste, without peas in everything, then this is the place!
First time at a long-time establishment in Oakland. Friendly service, made from scratch food, and an atmosphere like sitting down for lunch as a guest in someone's home. Only reason not a 5-star location is I prefer a little more spice in my food. It wasn't bland be any means, but very very mild.
Delicious seasoned chicken cooked on BBQ fresh everyday. Served with tortillas and sides. Salsa tasty but not hot. If you want hot just ask for it they do have it! Good Mexican food, Friendly and clean.
