Just had fried calamari and it's to die for. Then had a Cuban sandwich and it's delicious. The place is very clean and the wait staff is very friendly and took very good care of us.
Not your typical place is SE Topeka. They make their own beer, which is refreshing, and their food is made from scratch. You'll find burgers and chicken strips but what's different is the burger is made with brisket, the "fries" are potato wedges that are seasoned and their burger has some bomb @ss whisky bacon jam. Just tried Norseman Brewery by Lake Shawnee today for lunch. Such a fun, foody menu. I had the grilled Shrimp salad - delish. And hubby had the pulled pork tacos. Also yummy. It's so nice to have another choice to eat out by the Lake! We'll be back.
