The Flying Cow Reviews
The hours advertised are wrong and there’s no number to call. Not worth driving to. Hours state they are open until 10pm on a Saturday night. I Stopped at 4:30 pm at the Westwood location with workers in the building with the doors locked.
Best gelato shop ever! I've tried others but this place is my absolute favorite! I love all the flavors they have, especially Dirt & Dino's! 🍦 I definitely recommend!
The gelato is sublime! I bring it to dinner gatherings and now my friends are hooked, too.

The Flying Cow is a delightful restaurant, known for its delicious gelato and charming atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, making customers feel welcome every time they visit. This gelato shop features sections of chocolate and ice cream specifically for dogs, adding a unique touch. While the single-use plastic cups and spoons may be a downside, customers can request their gelato in a cone instead. Some customers have mentioned that the sizing may feel small for the pricing. The restaurant offers a variety of flavors, with recommendations for the lemon basil, Dirt & Dino's, mint chocolate chip, and pistachio. It’s a cozy place that can get busy, especially on summer nights when customers may have to wait in line outside. It’s important to note that the restaurant closes for the winter season. Overall, The Flying Cow is a must-visit destination for frozen treat lovers in downtown OP, praised for its amazing ice cream and excellent customer service.
