“My stop at The Roasterie Woodside Café was a great coffee break. The smell of freshly roasted beans hits you right away, and the café has a relaxed, airy feel. My latte was smooth and rich, and the breakfast bite paired perfectly. It’s a cozy spot to slow down and enjoy really good coffee.“

“Coffee is something I’m so particular I make it myself, but being on vacation, that’s not a luxury I have so for the singular time I tried Chingu, it seems that they are a viable go to. I got a seasonal flavored latte and man, it’s my definition of perfect; great coffee to flavoring ratio, and neither notes overpowered one another. My partner also got a seasonal choice of chamomile matcha with apricot cold foam and I’m versed enough with matcha to know that that was perfect as well, the tea was present, which complimented the earthy and fruity notes. Hence how I drew my conclusion that they are fantastic, as the restaurant literally alongside them which I’ll also be reviewing. Didn’t get food so I cannot speak much upon their options, though I will note I saw a couple that had been seated for a long time before me and my partner, got their food after ordering our drinks so one would assume they make their own food options in house.“

absolutely love this place!! i was a first timer today and genuinely cannot wait to be back. i got sick of my school's library and was on the hunt for cafes with long hours. the thing is, the other cafes with long hours are lowkey cramped and crowded and idk i'm someone that needs to be able to move around a lot and have flexibility in seating. well this cafe DELIVEREEEDDDDDD so much different seating, such a wide space, and amazing drinks!! honestly really wanna gatekeep this place but i loved it too much to not spread the word and give it more business. also loved the decor and i am so excited to go to some of the community events that are being held at blip and learn more about the history of the west bottoms!

“We adore our neighbors at Sway! We grab a coffee here nearly every day and brew our own with their beans when they are closed. They are a brilliant addition to the neighborhood, the smell of beans roasting in an inviting place to grab a beverage and a McLain’s bakery treat.“

“I've had a lot of local coffee beans maps is by far my favorite. The milk blend is perfect. Couldn't ask for more literally would not change a thing. Curious with the chocolate now if it is anywhere near as good as the coffee, then I will need a second job to support my habit. Great product really happy I found them“

“You literally can't miss this place because of the giant airplane parked on top of the building. I came by The Roasterie Factory Cafe for a quick afternoon pick-me-up and loved it. I got a classic cold brew and it was incredibly smooth and bold without being overly bitter.

The inside is massive, super industrial-cool, and has tons of seating if you actually want to sit down and get some work done. The staff was really efficient and friendly even though they were pretty busy. It's a Kansas City classic for a reason—definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!“

“Children’s Mercy Ophthalmology Clinic on Broadway gave my daughter her life back. She had a lazy eye and they suggested strabismus surgery at their Children’s Mercy Kansas campus in Overland Park KS. She had it done on January 14th 2026. We noticed after a week of her surgery she was not falling near as bad. Her depth perception is so much better. Dr. Allyson was amazing and referred us to her colleague Dr. Can who did my daughters procedure. I would 10/10 recommend this place for your children’s eye needs. They are very well educated and equipped for a lot of conditions!“

“I LOVE it here. The baristas are always so sweet, and the coffee is always delicious. I highly recommend the honeycomb latte. The ham and cheese croissant and the everything bagels are delicious as well. A little pricey but worth it. Great people all around.“

“Not only is this the best espresso in KC, thus is the best espresso I've ever had, full stop. I spent 2 years in the PNW, 5 years in California and 2 years in DC. Parisi blows every espresso I've tried out of the water. We now live in Texas and have it shipped to us every 2 weeks. It is the benchmark I use when trying a new coffee shop. If there's a better espresso out there, I haven't tried it.

“I absolutely love this drive thru. Chelsea, Jada, Olivia, and Chuck are the friendliest staff and caring! My fiancé and I are regulars that frequent weekly several times. On crap days, I will go grab a coffee just to see their friendly faces. I do wish that this location stayed on top of supplies though....had a rough go with lack of honey and cups a while ago.“
