“Stopped at this quaint coffee spot in KC to get my mom some much needed coffee! We got there around 10am and there was a line out the door. Don’t let that deter you! Their service was friendly and efficient! A line just means the coffee is good! ;). Ample parking and seating to enjoy your drink or wait for it to be made. My mom ordered a Bean Bean (brown sugar) espresso - she said it was strong likes she wants and not overly sweet, which she also prefers.“

“I’ve tried almost every coffee shop in the greater KC metro, and this is, without a doubt, my favorite. I would drink this cold brew coffee in the middle of January. The flavor is great, and just as importantly, the ice cubes are big so they don’t melt as quickly. The vibe of the shop is also great.“

We drove a half an hour to get there and were pretty disappointed. So you might call first to make sure that they're actually open when they say they're going to be.“

“You literally can't miss this place because of the giant airplane parked on top of the building. I came by The Roasterie Factory Cafe for a quick afternoon pick-me-up and loved it. I got a classic cold brew and it was incredibly smooth and bold without being overly bitter.

The inside is massive, super industrial-cool, and has tons of seating if you actually want to sit down and get some work done. The staff was really efficient and friendly even though they were pretty busy. It's a Kansas City classic for a reason—definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!“

Even though it is not something they offer on their menu, Mud Pie Bakery was willing to do a special order for a gluten free, dairy free key lime pie and I must say, we were blown away! It was delicious! The crust was delicious, the filling was tangy, and the whipped topping was sweet and balanced everything else out! Not only that, but it looked beautiful! The best part is that my boyfriend's son got to enjoy a sweet treat that the rest of the family was having and that is something that rarely happens, due to his dietary restrictions!
