The food is good, but I have tried about 5 times in the last couple months (my husband and inlaws love love the general tso chicken, so we frequent this joint) to get sweet and sour chicken and they are always out.They either are done for the day or an hour away from having any ready. I guess it is a couple days process to make, probably why they are always out.So I have yet to try that, but because of that, I have tried most everything else as consolations. Once again, Grandma Thuy's food was excellent! The egg rolls (I've never liked egg rolls but I love these), crab ragoon (full of crab filling), and firecracker shrimp (not spicy, but the shape of a firecracker) combo was amazing! I also ordered chicken wings with dipping sauces (nice bonus for my husband). Grandma Thuy's now serves fried rice with your choice of protein as well as lo mein. I can't wait to try them next time! This has to be one of the top places we have ever ordered Asian food from!!!! So hot and fresh. Super friendly staff, I wish this was more than carry out only. For the meantime I will eat it in my car just because we live 45 min away. The whole family can’t wait to come and try more things and order extra to take some home for later!
