I am just obsessed with their loaded mashed potatoes this very good waitress I had when dining in for the first time tonight. Kaley was so upbeat, professional and recommended a lot of good dishes. Amazing food and phenomenal service. I’ll be coming back! ?
Stroud's? If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there! Tucked away off N. Hillside, north of K96. Heard the fried chicken was good - Stroud's didn't disappoint! Can tell it is a favorite with many locals. Saturday night was packed out! Family style, with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, etc. Kind of what Grandma would serve you. Tasty everything. I’d been searching for good fried chicken in Wichita for about a month and ended up at Stroud’s today. Hands down the best fried chicken in western Kansas IMHO. Pan fried. Fresh. The meat was tender and the skin was crispy and savory. The mashed potatoes were clearly handmade and were light and fluffy.
