“Ryan did a great job showcasing the history and distilling philosophy of Michter’s. I highly recommend stopping by Michter’s Fort Nelson location in downtown Louisville. Bonus points for knowing more about my palette preferences than I did. You are a scholar and a gentleman sir. A gine fit for Michter’s in my humble estimation.“

“Super fun, the staff is awesome. Made what to me will forever be the best bottle of bourbon. 50 bucks or something about there for my own blend. Totally, totally worth it! Now if they could just figure out shipping... I'd be ordering more bottles right to my house.“

“Beautiful place full of delicious bourbon! As fans of Angels Envy bourbon we had to visit the distillery when in town and we were not disappointed. The whole place is amazing and our signature tour, with absolutely amazing tour guide, Paula, was fantastic! She was so informative and full of knowledge about Angels Envy from its humble beginnings, plus she was down to earth, friendly, and funny! The finish in the tasting room was a phenomenal end to a super fun experience! If you're in town, take the tour. If you aren't an Angel's Envy bourbon fan when you get there you will be when you leave!“

“We came from Alberta for guys trip and had planned on stopping in for a few bourbons and ended spending the evening there. Great bartender and great regulars , we felt we were there with friends. Came here to celebrate hubby’s birthday! We ordered filet mignon and Japanese wagyu! Melt in your mouth! So delicious! Josh and Caleb are wonderful ! They are kind, attentive, and very accommodating! Definitely will be comeback! Delicious steak ever!“

“We come to Louisville once a year and ALWAYS make a reservation here! It is our favorite. We have been doing this for over 10 years and I am always excited to go here. My favorite is the Shrimp and Grits and other people have raved about the Pork Chop and steak. I do not think there is a bad choice here. I have never once not had a great meal! Our service has always been wonderful as well, yet this year it was lackluster. One time out of 10 is just a fluke this year i am sure.“

“Really wanted to love this place after seeing so many people's visits online. Crab Rangoon Hush puppies were fantastic to start. The crab claws we ordered tasted freezer burned and not fresh. Order the fish and chips, chips were fantastic but the fish was mushy and bland. Maybe it was an off day but will be willing to give it another try down the line.“

“Awesome stop for a custom whiskey flight. I hit the jackpot with expert bartender CC, who took my request for a custom whiskey flight as a challenge and knocked it out of the park with three choices setup in the perfect order. She knew the story behind each one and quickly looked up some additional details on her phone when she wasn't sure. The bar is clean and spacious and full of light. Whiskies are arranged by family for easy identification. She described a "Black Manhattan" that sounded delicious, but I'll have to try that next time. Proof on Main makes the perfect place to treat your taste buds while waiting for a distillery tour. Slainte!“
