“This is seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had“

“My son out of nowhere asked if we could get Sun Valley. I haven't had Sun Valley in maybe 2 or 3 years. Not for any negative reason, but it used to be on my way home and isn't anymore. I had also heard that the prices went sky high. I got a medium pizza and it was basically the same amount that I would pay for Larosa's, but it was way better. I asked for extra pepperoni and asked if they could put it on top of the cheese, which they said no problem at all. I also asked for it well done which they cooked it perfectly. Crisp pepperoni, crispy crust. It was awesome! And again, I don't think the price was too bad at all. They are back in the rotation! Next time we're getting Hoagies!!!
Lastly, there was a guy and a girl both working who were really nice. I really appreciate it. Highly recommend.

“Ordered online and I noticed it wasn't updating the progress as it usually did. When it got close to my pick up time I drove the 5 min up the road to get them. When I went in I understood what was happening. There were 3 people working as hard as they could and the orders were just rolling in. They greeted me and let me know what was going on so I just sat down to wait. The employee apologized but seriously they were working hard.... and all the orders were multiple pizzas. So when mine came up I thanked them and left a tip and told them I understood and I could see they were working hard. The pizzas were exactly what we ordered and hot and delicious. I'll be back again. Thanks again to the staff members working hard to keep up tonight.“

“Strong's new Newport location has noticeably "upped their game". I've been there the last two Fridays with a group for lunch and EVERYONE agreed that their pizzas were PHENOMENAL. “This was our first Tokyo Pie visit, and my wife and I had a great time celebrating my birthday on a Tuesday night. We grabbed a table by the bar and ordered cocktails from the friendly bartender. Then ordered two pies through the QR code (super quick using Google Pay). We could have ordered them from the bartender also. I then did order the dessert hand pie from the bartender. Everything was fantastic! The flame and mushroom pizzas were unique and delicious (plus we had leftovers). The hand pie was killer. Drinks were great and pleasing just to look at.

“You were slammed and short staffed tonight. Had to wait for awhile for our order, but everyone in the store was super friendly and moving quickly with a lot of effort to fill the orders. “Recently moved here and still trying to get everything moved in and organized, so we Decided we’d try our local LaRosa’s last night (7/27/26) after our son and DIL repeatedly told us how great their location was! Eastgate location did not let us down!! I’ll be honest, when we walked in I wasn’t expecting much. Pretty quiet place, no business at the time but we did come in around 4:30pm so maybe we just missed the hustle and bustle and I’m ok with that lol
We had a sweet server who I believe was a bit new but she took care of us and we never had to look for her!
Now the food! My husband and I decided to try something we’ve never had before since it was our first time and I chose the Focaccia Florentine and he ordered the Three Meat Calzone! We both were not disappointed when it was put in front of us. From the first look to the last bite… it was amazing, Or as my son would say Straight 🔥🔥!! The crispy pan crust was the best crust I’ve ever tasted. It was so pillowy soft wrapped in a crusty goodness. The only thing I would change next time is add another protein to it.
We’re already planning what our next order will be when we go back and there will definitely be repeat visits! So glad we gave it a chance and found a great new place close to our new home!

“Wanted to eat IN the restaurant, so we came in and asked for a table rather than a booth. No issues there, as they were happy to accommodate the request.
Iris, the server, was polite and friendly and efficient once we decided what to order. She was attentive and quick.
The food was exactly as expected, and came out at the perfect temperatures (calzone and a specialty salad).
When we were done, she brought us the bill quickly, and took the payment with a kind smile. And when we were done and leaving, someone was very quick to collect our dishes and trash.

“This place has some amazing pizza, spaghetti and garlic knots. Their large pizza is actually large and for a fair price, and the meatballs they put in the spaghetti are huge! Everything tasted great; noodles were cooked perfectly and whatever dough they use for the garlic knots reminds me of my grandma's.“

“This is my favorite restaurant on campus and one of my favorite pizza places ever. The only reason it's missing a star is because they sometimes take the thin crust to the extreme. And I mean sometimes it's so thin it feels like the pizza is gonna disintegrate when I pick it up. I feel like this has happened more often than not this semester, and today was especially bad. The crust on about 1/3 of my slice was as thin as the cheese.“

“I originally ordered from Grubhub and the driver pretty much stole half my order so I didn't get two pizzas. The store manager was extremely helpful in resolving this issue and I had two new pizzas delivered to us within 45 mins. I would never blame Donatos for Grubhubs screw up but it was nice that manager understood the situation we were in and was very accommodating. Thank you again!“
