“Strong's new Newport location has noticeably "upped their game". I've been there the last two Fridays with a group for lunch and EVERYONE agreed that their pizzas were PHENOMENAL. “I have been meaning to stop by since they opened, finally had a chance tonight. Casual atmosphere of a neighborhood place. Warm greeting upon arrival. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. I had garlic knots and a small pizza and both were delicious. The pizza was a 10” pie the size of a paper plate. The toppings were fresh and evenly spread over the pie which was perfectly cooked. The crust was the perfect consistency. The pizza really did taste like a traditional pizza I use to have when I was young and we lived next door to a family from Italy. It’s a can’t miss experience, and I will definitely dine here again.“

“My husband and I stopped in today for lunch after seeing it recommended on Google. The fresh focaccia with olive oil and balsamic were hands down the best I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed his wedge salad and we split a highly delicious pepperoni pizza. Mike and Maddie were so welcoming! “The homemade Greek Pizza is phenomenal! And the owner is super sweet; you can tell he really takes pride in his work and this shop. He came to our table multiple times and shared stories, made sure everything was great.

“My son out of nowhere asked if we could get Sun Valley. I haven't had Sun Valley in maybe 2 or 3 years. Not for any negative reason, but it used to be on my way home and isn't anymore. I had also heard that the prices went sky high. I got a medium pizza and it was basically the same amount that I would pay for Larosa's, but it was way better. I asked for extra pepperoni and asked if they could put it on top of the cheese, which they said no problem at all. I also asked for it well done which they cooked it perfectly. Crisp pepperoni, crispy crust. It was awesome! And again, I don't think the price was too bad at all. They are back in the rotation! Next time we're getting Hoagies!!!
Lastly, there was a guy and a girl both working who were really nice. I really appreciate it. Highly recommend.
