We visited last night & the food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommend
Tonight was our first visit, but it won’t be our last! Jason was a great server, very attentive and gave good recommendations. Be sure to try Kel’s Nachos. They are delicious and unlike any nachos I’ve had before. Be sure to try this little jewel in the heart of downtown Ashland. You won’t be disappointed!
We had a meeting in downtown Ashland and this was handy to walk too. Everything we ordered was awesome.
Nothing pleases me more than to see fried green tomatoes on the menu! 5 stars ⭐️

Located next to Whitts on Winchester Ave, Kel's Tavern is a new restaurant with a wonderful atmospheric, laid back, eclectic theme. The interior is very clean with bright tables, a full bar with multiple TVs, and a rustic-ish, cozy vibe. The menu is just right—not hugely expansive, but there is something for everyone. Brunch is served from 11a-2p on weekends only. The food is delicious. Specific meals mentioned include the Sunday Brunch, cold smothered chicken and sweet potato fries, fried green tomato BLT, SW chicken wrap, chicken bruschetta pasta, Philly cheese steak, Apple Butter and sausage crepe, and Kel’s Nachos. The staff is attentive, efficient, and great. The owner/manager stopped by to check on the experience. There is live music and a TouchTunes jukebox. Kel’s is one of the favorite places to go, and it is definitely worth a visit.
