I’m not a fan of Whit’s unfortunately. We’ve went to the downtown location and the one at Camp Landing and both places were mediocre at best. The taste of the frozen custard was good but it melts way too quickly, and my boys had a cone and it kept dripping and melting so quickly. It made it hard to eat. The Camp Landing location was out of the chocolate flavor this week as well.

What a gem of a place, located right in the heart of thriving downtown Ashland! The interior is so comfortable, open, and inviting. They have a nice coffee bar (which I didn’t utilize this visit), a well-stocked freezer case with treats to take home, and of course the main counter.

Every single person I worked with was so incredibly sweet and helpful from the initial contact, to the tasting, to the day of the wedding. I worked with Emily the most, and she made everything so easy. There was so much flexibility in what they offered too! If we wanted a specific flavor, they worked with us to make it.
