“If you’re within 50 miles of Benton, Kentucky heck, even 100 do yourself a favor and get to this little slice of heaven: a small, family-owned diner that completely stole my heart and appetite. I stumbled upon it by chance and ended up eating there four days in a row. Not once did I repeat a meal, and not once was I anything less than blown away. Every dish was a knockout, but two things deserve their own spotlight: the hush puppies and the smoked meatloaf. The hush puppies are crispy, golden bites of joy perfectly seasoned, not greasy, and made with love you can taste. But the smoked meatloaf? That’s in a league of its own. It’s got that perfect smoky flavor, tender as a brisket, I’d drive the full 50 miles just for that. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, Billy walks out with dessert. I’m convinced he’s got magic in those hands because his desserts aren’t just the best in the county, they’re the best in Kentucky. Homemade pies, cakes. each one better than the last. If you go and don’t save room for dessert, you’re doing it wrong. What really made this place special, though, was the people. The staff treated me like family from the moment I walked in. They remembered my name, asked about my day, and made me feel like I was more than just a customer, I was a guest at their table. The warmth and hospitality here is something you don’t find often, and it’s genuine. So here’s the deal: if you’re anywhere near Benton, make the trip. This diner isn’t just a place to eat it’s an experience, a memory. I’ll be back every chance I get.”

“The Brewhaus is, in a word, relaxing. I've been to restaurants, bars, pubs, and more, and the atmosphere at the Dam Brewhaus is completely unique... very laid back most of the time. The owners, the Kelley's, are wonderful, and the team that they have there... those people are bad a**es. I don’t drink much, but I enjoy the people, and my husband enjoys the beverage selection. His highest recommendation usually goes to the Haus Hazy. If I'm recommending a drink on tap, my favorite is usually a cider, specifically the blackberry lavender, but that one isn’t made in-house... so, I'll have to recommend the Wallace Posey, a brown ale... be sure to ask about the story behind the beer. 🍻 My favorite item off of the food menu is easily either the smoked bologna plate or the hamburger (featuring TAP CattleCompany beef, local to Marshall County, KY). But if they have fettuccine alfredo for a special, DO NOT pass that up (Jacob makes the best homemade alfredo sauce I've ever eaten). Also, don't pass up steak night...another TAP Cattle Company special on occasion. My favorite night of the week at the Brewhaus is Thursday for trivia, but Tuesdays are super popular for singo. Whatever you decide, just dont decide to skip out on this amazing place. 🤍”

“I tried this out over the weekend with my granddaughter and kids! It was busy every table was full, and it was so delicious. We had a smash burger, bbq nachos, fish and a keto crust pizza. I can’t wait to come back!”

“Technically, yes, I do recommend Woodhouse. The smash burgers were delicious. However, there is no excuse to not even start my online order until I finally asked about it and had already been waiting for 45minutes. I know it was the first day, I know you’re probably understaffed, etc. But there were multiple people who came in to order, got their food, ate, and left, before I got my online to go order. Please, keep the smash burgers but make the process better!”

“I live in Eddyville and when our one coffee shop closed for remodeling, I was curious what other options were around. I happened to find this one through Google Maps and I am so glad I visited!! The coffee shop is quiet and cozy with a couch and game table, cozy chairs for chatting, and plenty of tables to spread out at. There was no music playing when I came which I found to be a unique choice but I liked the change. For a smaller coffee shop, their prices are quite average for what you would expect ($4-5 for most drinks). The service was FAST and I enjoyed my butterscotch iced latte. Drinks here are served without a lid and when you receive your drink, you pick whichever lid, straw, cup cozy, etc. suits your style best- unique for sure! I love this little shop and I may be coming here more often to do work and read my Bible!”

“This location is connected to a gas station. The food is good and got and it's clean inside. If any complaints, I would say they're a bit slow. But your food is fresh so it's a give and take. I'll take that....”

“If I could give them negative stars, I would. Completely incompetent staff. The last 4 times we have went there, something from our order was wrong or left out & not discovered missing until we were many miles away at home ready to eat. I have continued to overlook their incompetencey & have given them many chances, however our DISGUSTING BREAKFAST today was the last straw! The lady was so rude this morning as well! 🤢🤮😡🤬🤢🤮”
