I would rate this place a 9/10. The place was very nice a had dim light so it’s good for a romantic meal or just a chill night with friends and family. The service was EXCELLENT. My food was prepared perfectly but I do wish it had more seasoning.
Special shout out to the Owner who continues to keep the Bayou atmosphere alive in such a quaint yet lovely restaurant/bar. Both Carter & Lee made sure our accommodations were perfect for our large group to celebrate the festivities of Fat Tuesday. From the Shrimp & Grits, to oysters, and Hurricanes it was a close to the real thing as any true Louisiana girl could ask for this far from home. The Boudain Balls were superb and if anything should be on the full time appetizer...
We came on Valentine’s Day— surely one of the busiest days of the year but the service was still outstanding. They had some wonderfully tasty Valentine’s Day special drinks that me and my date both enjoyed greatly. Several servers came by and complimented our outfits, it was very sweet. Our server was Mikayla, and she was outstanding, always attentive and very kind and helpful and gave us some delicious drink recommendations. Whatever you’re paying her, it’s not enough....
