“This place is a staple for Burksville KY. To have a place that serves a home cooked breakfast and not charge a arm and a leg is few and far between. You walk in place an order and sit down, don't be shy share the large family table with some of the locals. What a great experience where you can go back in time if even a glimpse. The chocolate gravy is killer, the french toast is even better. If you are not pulling up to this place on your way home from the lake your missing out.”

“What a great BBQ place!! ? The folks were lovely and the food was delicious. The pulled pork sandwich and tater tots were fantastic. The catfish sandwich also was good. But the desserts!!! Delicious!! We shared 3 between 2 of us (pecan and chocolate pies and the brownie). I don’t think you can go wrong with any selection here ?”

“Great place and friendly staff. If you are camping near by this is a must stop. Been here a few times over the years and it's expanded nicely to a bait shop and a bakery / mini 'diner' that can do pizza to hotdogs to burgers to cold subs. Even hosting a wide range of breakfast meals at a very reasonable price.The deserts are amazing with tons of milkshakes to coffee treats. Some of the best blueberry muffins I've ever had.The two con's / suggestionsThe candy selection is lacking. We went on an edge season in October but the candy selection was lacking compared to recent trips. I'd really like to see this back to its full glory with the tons of candy for kids to enduldge on.Secondary is the pizza prices. They are a bit steap for what you get... while I fully understand the fact it's the only place for miles paying 17$ for a meatlovers 12 inch pizza is a bit expensive. While good it was nothing to write home about. Definitely scratched that pizza itch. Maybe down to the 14$ I'd see that.The 13$ for a 12 inch single topping was reasonable.All in all minor complaints when your out this far. The staff and other selections at a great price far outweigh the cons.”

“Love this place! The tomato pie is amazing, as is the rest of their menu, but you HAVE TO try the tomato pie! And the staff is just as awesome as the food. This was my first (of many!) visits to Annie Ruby's. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Burkesville!”

“The pancakes are homemade and absolutely wonderful. I asked for scrambled eggs and they were perfect which really is hard for me to get scrambled eggs the way I like them. The sausage was good the bacon was good the eggs my husband got were done exactly how we liked them and he loved the grits. We stopped in on our way home to Michigan. It was a lovely stop.”
