You just can’t beat good ol’ fashioned hospitality! These guys are the best!
I have eaten at the Fishin' Hole 2 times. It's had the best fried catfish I have had in years. I would give this place ten stars if I could.

The Fishin' Hole Restaurant is a staple in the Rockcastle area, described as a very cute, kind of hole in the wall place. The food is really good and excellent, with plenty of options. For breakfast, served until 11 am, the almost French toast and seasoned potatoes are a must try. The lunch and dinner menu includes good pizza, such as the chicken bacon ranch pizza, along with burgers, a bacon cheeseburger, club sandwich, BLT, and a catfish plate that is delicious either blackened or fried. The pork fried tenderloin sandwich is amazing, and the Philly cheese steak sandwich is pretty good, though the grilled fish poor boy was not a favorite for one reviewer. Meals come with good fries, and don’t forget the Burgoo. For dessert, the homemade ice-cream sandwich is amazing, and the peach sweet tea is also noted.
The service is great, with friendly, courteous, and nice waitresses. The owner is also very nice and polite. The restaurant has plenty of seating, including a comfortable and pleasant closed-in outside patio, which is recommended for a more relaxed atmosphere as the inside dining space can feel too crowded with narrow walking areas. It is closed Monday through Wednesday. Overall, it is a place with great food and a good experience, worth the trip.
