“Welcome to Folktale Coffee and Bakehouse! Located on a cozy corner of a festive brick street, this inviting cafe was the perfect respite from the chilly winter gusts. As a coffee connoisseur, I'm always on the hunt for a perfect mocha. My quest mates with me, we tried the rich and creamy mocha latte, silky homemade hot chocolate, robust Cubano, and refreshing and unique Farmer iced tea. We also tried their golden speculous and salted chocolate chip cookies.

Art and legend drift like an ambient candle through the atmosphere of this establishment. Brooke, the one woman army, was like an informant tavern keeper, answering all our questions, taking our orders, and crafting our drinks with careful diligence. This place is very roomy with plenty of space whether you feel like chatting across a table or reclining on a sunlit couch.

“Best breakfast tacos I've had! Also best oat milk chai latte! Not many vegan options on the menu, but seems like you could make more by ordering without the dairy. They also had vegan blueberry muffins, but I didn't try them because they didn't say gf. They make all their bread and baked goods in house, including the corn tortillas for the breakfast tacos, which I saw being made right before the tacos were assembled.“

“Starbucks. We stop here often on our road trips. Drive thru needs attention. Each time we stop here we have to park next door and walk over due to drive thru traffic blocking entire entrance to starbucks. Teach them how to make a nice line out of everyone else's way. May need instructions & signage. Otherwise, we love ❤️ yall's service & quality.“

“My experience on this day was underwhelming. Not only did I have to wait 10 minutes for three cups of coffee but it took another 5 minutes to get the cream. There was also an intoxicated employee in the building, that made things uncomfortable. This resulted in local police making a visit to the restaurant.“

“We met this employee, Kenny. He was so sweet. Always made sure our food was out in time, made sure we had everything, and checked up on us. You can really tell he’s very passionate about his job and really cares. We bragged on him when we left and so many other customers agreed with us on how amazing he was. He really made me feel welcomed. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Stopped in Christmas Day on my way home and was blown away for a McDonald’s! Granted we just did curbside and had a small order but food was fresh, didn’t take long to get our food & the guy who brought our food was super nice. Get bad for adding to businesses being open Christmas Day but I was starving.“
