“For me, this place is all about setting expectations. I wanted something close to me where my son could play pool. This is a no frills neighborhood divebar. Food is largely snacks, bags of chips, pretzels, etc. I don't think there were any taps, but they did have liquor if you wanted. The perk, which is what makes this place shine, is the prices, 3 basic beers and a bag of chips was ~$12. The staff were friendly and the place was relatively quiet. There was karakoe, darts, and a pool table, plus an outdoor space. It was well worth the trip, but don't expect anything fancy.“

“First time here, had a blast! Was fun watching Shiny Old Soul play! Brian, the bartender, was very friendly and provided great service! Cozy inside and out back they have a nice clean outdoor space with a fire pit. If your favorite local band or one you're interested in is playing, give this place a shot! Literally every customer that was in the bar when we went seemed polite/friendly. Like, people actually say excuse me to get by, easy to strike up conversation, etc. Very welcoming. Was my first time at a bar in a long time, so I was weary, but I couldn't have asked for a better evening. We were there on an early to mid Saturday evening and it wasn'tt crowded. There was plenty of room for us to sit. Last, the men's bathroom was clean, which was nice. Hope to visit again! PS: Should mention that I wasn't drinking alcohol and still had a great time!“

“A good friend of mine owns this bar. Good cold beer. Fun games. Stairs to the sub level and to the bathroom. Enough to test your drunk behavior. They use Square for credit cards. Bar nuts offered. I'm sure you can get food delivery just ask. I always have fun drinking here when I visit.“

“We hosted a get together here and had a great time! Candace was so great to work with prior to the event and helped us organize drink tickets and a space for us for food. The day of the event, Brandy and Tommy (the bartenders) took great care of us and made sure everyone had a great time. This place is a hidden gem up on the hill with great staff, great bar selections, and a great atmosphere! We will be back.“

“Had a chill night at the Crazy Fox Saloon. Played some pool and enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. They don’t serve food or make mixed drinks, but you can bring your own food or get delivery, which is convenient. Bartender was alright — not overly friendly, but did the job. Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood bar if you're in the mood to kick back, have a basic drink, and shoot some pool.“

“Janet is an amazing chef and woman. She catered my daughter’s Sweet 16 and everyone was very impressed by her buffet styled setup and the food was delicious. She even stayed and made sure everyone was taken care of. Her prices can’t be beat either. I definitely recommend her. 🔥🔥🔥“

“That lady Ms. Tasha is the first person I met in this city who has any decorum. Tasha and her cute nephew LA offered amazing hospitality and all of the patrons even at this establishment were so nice and friendly. I truly felt safe and at home here and they have great music and prices. I was crying so bad I had, had such a bad experience at the hard rock casino and Ms. Tasha turned my whole day around. They were hosting a 65th birthday party yesterday when I was in and Ms. Tasha went above and beyond to make sure the party people’s set up was perfect even down to the fine details. You couldn’t give your money to a better bar. This place rocks and if I ever have to go back to Cincinnati I’ll certainly stop here and recommend this place to all my friends touring. Great atmosphere, excellent service, great attitudes, kind, caring, and considerate. Ms. Tasha certainly didn’t have to do any of that stuff for me but she made sure I felt right at home in this establishment. I’ve never had better service than this ever. “Pretty much the epitome of a hole in the wall bar. The staff or bartender aren't the most social creates but that's not why you go there. The beer and drinks a dirt cheap and good. “Solid easy to get to bar. Service is quick, you have to go to the bar for Service later in the night. Staff is polite and efficient. Beer is cold. You get pushed out pretty quick at 2am, so make sure your tab is paid or you have a hefty addition added to your tab!“

I was not impressed with the state of the rest room when I went to use it. Though it may be a one time thing. However, I still love Gypsy. It’s all fun fun fun“
