1st visit was last night with family. Everyone had something different and we were all very pleased.
When a customer clearly understands your menu better than you. Thats saying something. I ordered 2 torta cubanas and one came out right the other one came out with lettuce, tomato, onion, and with some sort of sauce on it. So because this was take out I turn around drive back and calmly go back and tell the front that this sandwich wasn't what i ordered. Tacos D Amor offers food, service, and atmosphere that customers loved. The nachos and pork *masita* tacos were among favorites. The potato flautas, chicken flautas, esquites, and elote were very good and fresh. The children's nachos were fantastic, the taco salad was loved, and the birria tacos were wonderful. Service felt like 5 star service in a casual restaurant, with staff being really nice and kind. The atmosphere had TVs for viewing games but not overwhelming, with tables spaced nicely. Some noted the food was fantastic but had sticker shock, as lunch for 1 was over $20 for 2 tacos, chips, and a drink, suggesting more lunch deals would be appreciated. Others found the food priced fairly. Margaritas and draft beer were fine. Customers would happily return and highly recommend this place.
