The food is absolutely delicious and served in daunting portions. The burgers are the jaw-unhinging size (and shape) of baseballs, cooked beautifully and doctored up in amazing ways. Six out of seven of us chose different styles, and none of us were disappointed; I had Boursin and poblano, and I still regret that I couldn't finish that last bite. The lone holdout, my mother, ordered a chef's salad and raved about it, saying that it was the first she'd ever had that she honestly couldn't finish. My dad and I will testify that she did her best.

The only dessert listed at Gordo's is the Dessert of the Day. I asked our waitress whether it actually existed, or if they (rightly) assumed that no one would ever have room to order it. She said that they did (it was tiramisu that day), but most people who could still think about food ordered it to go. My teenager made a reflexive plea, but they were too full to put in real effort.

If we didn't live two states away, Gordo's would already be our family's regular place, and my fridge would already be stocked with the Dessert of the Day. As it is, we'll definitely be back whenever we visit Cincinnati.“

“My wife and I stopped by Zola Pub & Grill last Saturday—Derby Day—for a bite to eat. It wasn't crowded, just a few regulars at the bar, making it a nice, quiet spot to enjoy good food and good company. We started with the Cajun Cheese Fries (ordered without jalapeños or green onions and sour cream on the side), and they were delightful—served hot and fresh. Unlike some places, the cajun seasoning actually covered the fries rather than just being sprinkled on top, and the cheese was melted to perfection. We also split 10 medium wings which were hot and hit the mark, and my wife, who is a big fan of Caesar salads, absolutely loved theirs. To wash it all down, I stuck with Mich Ultras while my wife had the Country Boy Ciders; they were running a special that night for $3 a can, which made for a very reasonable bill. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and since the bartender mentioned they are known for their burgers, we’ll definitely be heading back to give those a try. If you're looking for a casual spot with good food and fair prices, this is a solid bet.“

“Even having arrived mid afternoon on a weekday, one can see this would be a fun place on a summer weekend evening. Burgers, the short rib grilled cheese (sold out at the time), and the Greek spaghetti were recommended.

I ordered the spaghetti. I can see the appeal: bacon, green bell peppers and onions, and olives tossed in butter+olive oil and topped with parmesan. It was underseasoned, but still hearty (and nothing some salt and pepper couldn't help). Maddie, the server/hostess was lovely and engaging, attentive and helpful. What a fun place to visit, if you appreciate how difficult it must be to be in business since 1861.

“This is one of what used to be two restaurants, nearly identical known as The Pub. The other was in Rookwood and closed recently after 25 years. We frequented that every week. This one is very similar in the inside in general, although the specific layout is quite different. One specific difference is the amount of screens; the Rookwood Pub seemed designed to allow you to watch sporting events, so if they had the World Cup on for example, you could watch the game. Most of the seats in the pub in Crestview do not have a view of a screen as far as I can see and the screens are smaller, so if you're not there to view a sporting event, it's less intrusive but it's not where I would go to watch one so it can be a plus some of the time and a minus others. The food menu is basically the same, although the items come across as somewhat different if you were used to the other Pub, probably a difference in chefs. If it's like the other Pub, sometimes they'll have a very good Chef for a while and then they'll get picked up at a greater salary by another restaurant and then there's a new one for a while. The wait staff tends to be young and often comes and goes. The person who waited on us was nice but it didn't feel as personable as some places, especially not like the other pub. As this is in a mall area, the parking is quite easy so that's a plus in its favor.
We will be back, although it's a bit of a trek for us to go down to Kentucky. I think for us the problem was it's like visiting with a brother or sister of a good friend you've lost and it's eerily close to the one you remember, but it isn't the one you remember and so our visit was tinged with a bit of sadness.“

“The atmosphere inside is like no other. The Greenwich is a hidden gem in Cincinnati. Jazz, Blues, Big Band, Recitals, Orchestra, Spoken Word, Funk, R&B and Pure Love! Great place to work. My coworkers are awesome. So is my Boss. I have to say The Artists are my absolute favorite. I love each and everyone of them. Art lives and breathes in the Greenwich and I feel special to be part of such a special place. The drinks are cheap, the private live events I work have changed my life. “Cool 2nd floor place that's actually 3 bars in one. There's a front outdoor deck and middle bar that go by Blind Pig. O'Malleys is in the back and worth finding. It has a great vibe and the prices were very reasonable. The service was awesome and the food was better than we would've expected.
