Arnold's Pub KY Bar • $
208 W Pike St, Covington

“It's a cute well done little bar. Nice out doors area, very affordable. It's still looking for it's customers tho. Currently here at 9:30pm on a Friday night and there's 4 people here counting me and my girlfriend. We'd probably come back just as a cheap drink to get out for a minute or a pit stop to other places.“

“I visited Mic's Pub 3: The Last Stand this past Friday night. The service was great. The ambiance is exactly what I was looking for. The bartender brought fresh popcorn to our table, for free may I add. They offered a nice selection of bar food. Fresh soft pretzels with cheese, hot dogs, chips, etc.. The bartender was very quick to serve drinks to my large group when we approached the bar. The prices and selection are the best in the area. No matter where you were sitting you had a view of multiple flatscreen television that had the games on. The bar also had golden tee, multiple electronic dart boards and keno. I will definitely be adding Mics to my rotation of hometown bars to visit on a night out!“

“I had a good experience at Molly Malone's for a Monday night dinner. I got the House Salad with ranch dressing. The salad was fine, but it was tiny, side-salad size. The menu did not indicate the small size, otherwise I would have ordered something else. Someone else in my party also ordered a salad and also found the size was insufficient for a meal by itself. To supplement, we ordered the vegetarian potato skins appetizer. The veggie potato skins were phenomenal, fried to perfection. Overall the restaurant was ok. It was fairly dark inside. The first booth we sat at had food left on the floor, so we moved to a different booth which was fine. The service was good. The music, the live bluegrass Monday night jam, was awesome!! It really contributed to the overall experience. The live band was my favorite part of the evening. I'm hoping to go back soon and give Molly's another try.“

“We have been eating ZOLA BURGERS for years. Our recent visit was incredible because of Desiree, the bartender. Bartenders on that strip usually lack personality, but Desiree was sweet, knowledgeable, and warm. There are dozens of pubs on the strip with glitter and brass, but we will come back to KY for our Zola burgers...and Desiree.“

Olde Towne Tavern Bar • $

“This is your typical hole in the wall bar, aesthetically it's nothing special, offers pretty standard drink selections, bartenders have always been pleasant. But karaoke nights here are my so freaking fun & we've had some of my favorite nights here!“

Mr T's Tavern On Main Pubs • $
933 Main St # 1, Covington

“Have ended many a night here over the span of many years, this place may not have the trendiest drinks nor the hippest crowds, but it has real people happily working and patronizing. A real gem, old Cov as it gets! Beautiful back bar, perhaps the most gorgeous in all of Kenton Co. Serves 7oz Little Kings, that says it all. Don't change a damn thing! Okay, maybe the name...“

Mainstrasse Village Pub Bar • $

“I love dive bars and beautiful Covington,KY has 2 great ones I visited back in June. This was the first visit as we strolled through downtown Covington on a rainy night. We were here on a Tuesday night, and they were busy. We sat at the bar near the front. The bar was half full, and most of the tables were taken. This looks like a small bar at first glance. However, there is a huge back part that looked pretty busy. What I loved about Mainstrausse is the number of beers available. They had one of the largest IPA selections I have ever seen. I think most were local breweries. I had a couple of those. Customer service was pretty much non-existent. This is a locals, neighborhood bar. The bartender just handed us our beers and walked off. We paid and left. Absolutely fine with me. I don't want to be treated in any special kind of way. Just hand me a cold beer, and we're good. Covington is a beautiful little town with friendly people. I'd like to go back at some time and visit Mainstrausse again.“

Strasse Haus Bar • $
630 Main St, Covington

“One of the staff thought it'd be 'funny' to try and steal my purse. I was watching the band play and he tried to take my purse from me. He only stopped pulling on my purse when my friend and I yelled at him. He tried to play it off as a joke. I didnt get his name. We left after the incident. This place is not safe for women when staff are behaving like this.“
