“Gordo's is the kind of timeless place that makes visitors feel comfortable without making a big deal about it. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and very good at their jobs; they seem to genuinely enjoy working there, and it shows.

The food is absolutely delicious and served in daunting portions. The burgers are the jaw-unhinging size (and shape) of baseballs, cooked beautifully and doctored up in amazing ways. Six out of seven of us chose different styles, and none of us were disappointed; I had Boursin and poblano, and I still regret that I couldn't finish that last bite. The lone holdout, my mother, ordered a chef's salad and raved about it, saying that it was the first she'd ever had that she honestly couldn't finish. My dad and I will testify that she did her best.

The only dessert listed at Gordo's is the Dessert of the Day. I asked our waitress whether it actually existed, or if they (rightly) assumed that no one would ever have room to order it. She said that they did (it was tiramisu that day), but most people who could still think about food ordered it to go. My teenager made a reflexive plea, but they were too full to put in real effort.

If we didn't live two states away, Gordo's would already be our family's regular place, and my fridge would already be stocked with the Dessert of the Day. As it is, we'll definitely be back whenever we visit Cincinnati.“

“My wife and I stopped by Zola Pub & Grill last Saturday—Derby Day—for a bite to eat. It wasn't crowded, just a few regulars at the bar, making it a nice, quiet spot to enjoy good food and good company. We started with the Cajun Cheese Fries (ordered without jalapeños or green onions and sour cream on the side), and they were delightful—served hot and fresh. Unlike some places, the cajun seasoning actually covered the fries rather than just being sprinkled on top, and the cheese was melted to perfection. We also split 10 medium wings which were hot and hit the mark, and my wife, who is a big fan of Caesar salads, absolutely loved theirs. To wash it all down, I stuck with Mich Ultras while my wife had the Country Boy Ciders; they were running a special that night for $3 a can, which made for a very reasonable bill. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and since the bartender mentioned they are known for their burgers, we’ll definitely be heading back to give those a try. If you're looking for a casual spot with good food and fair prices, this is a solid bet.“

“Take out order for 3. French dip, not as described, bun not toasted tasted old and the ajus was onion soup, so thick you couldn't dip your sandwich in it. All our fries soggy cold half cooked. You couldn't pay me to go back there. Big disappointment after reading reviews.“

“Dingle House has a tremendous Irish Pub we found in Westchester. The first we noticed is that it was a very visually appealing restaurant with a cool looking structure and great decor. We started off with an appetizer of Jack Cheese Sticks served with marinara sauce. It was a different cheese stick than any I've ever had as it was almost eggroll shaped with the cheese on the top. In any case the jack cheese was fantastic and fried to perfection. For my main course I got an Irish staple that being the Fish And Chips. The fish was a fantastic haddock that was crispy and delicious served with a super tartar sauce. The chips (American fries) were fantastic as well especially dipped into the tartar sauce. Simply a delicious meal in every way. The wait staff was great as well and all appropriately dressed for an Irish Pub. This was tremendous in every way and I can't wait to come back.“

“Nice neighborhood bar serving good drinks and pub style food. The food menu is limited somewhat but the taste and quality was very good. Happy hour went until 7 pm and they had live music on the weekend staring at 8 pm. Service was good but tight with the bartenders mixing drinks and serving the food from the kitchen. “I am admittedly not easily impressed, but my son and I had a great experience all around tonight for a quick bite. From the greeting when we walked in, our server Matthew and the food everything was spot on. Tables were being cleaned as people left, the bartenders were wiping down the station, the food came out hot and cooked properly, the employees having a genuine smile. “Even having arrived mid afternoon on a weekday, one can see this would be a fun place on a summer weekend evening. Burgers, the short rib grilled cheese (sold out at the time), and the Greek spaghetti were recommended.

I ordered the spaghetti. I can see the appeal: bacon, green bell peppers and onions, and olives tossed in butter+olive oil and topped with parmesan. It was underseasoned, but still hearty (and nothing some salt and pepper couldn't help). Maddie, the server/hostess was lovely and engaging, attentive and helpful. What a fun place to visit, if you appreciate how difficult it must be to be in business since 1861.

“The atmosphere inside is like no other. The Greenwich is a hidden gem in Cincinnati. Jazz, Blues, Big Band, Recitals, Orchestra, Spoken Word, Funk, R&B and Pure Love! Great place to work. My coworkers are awesome. So is my Boss. I have to say The Artists are my absolute favorite. I love each and everyone of them. Art lives and breathes in the Greenwich and I feel special to be part of such a special place. The drinks are cheap, the private live events I work have changed my life. The guests are something special too. Some have become life long friends. I would recommend you be a part of history because this place is actually historical.“

He only stopped pulling on my purse when my friend and I yelled at him. He tried to play it off as a joke. I didnt get his name. We left after the incident. This place is not safe for women when staff are behaving like this.“

“Cool 2nd floor place that's actually 3 bars in one. There's a front outdoor deck and middle bar that go by Blind Pig. O'Malleys is in the back and worth finding. It has a great vibe and the prices were very reasonable. The service was awesome and the food was better than we would've expected.
We had a little trouble with our hotel and the service and scene at O'Malleys was exactly what we needed. They totally reset our day and we will definitely be back.“
