“The food was great! I loved the atmosphere, the old floors and exposed brick. Great service too. We really didn't expect much, but the food was great, and plenty of it. I had a ribeye and my wife had the lasagna. Our mains arrived and her lasagna was HUGE! It was 5"X7" and over 3" thick! And she said it was the best she had ever eaten. My steak was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. We are coming back!”

“I walked into Taco Loco on a random Tuesday thinking I’d just grab a quick bite. I walked out a changed person. Somewhere between the first crunch of that perfectly grilled birria taco and the last glorious drip of consomé running down my wrist—I saw the light. Not the LED bulbs. I mean THE light. Let me be clear: I’ve had tacos. I’ve lived through sad tortilla moments. But Taco Loco? They don’t serve food. They serve experiences. Bold, unapologetic, “where-have-you-been-all-my-life” flavor bombs wrapped in handmade tortillas. The staff? Literal angels in aprons. Friendly, fast, and not judging me as I wept gently over a second round of elotes. Whether you’re nursing a heartbreak, celebrating a win, or just tired of food that tastes like cardboard sadness—Taco Loco is your new holy land. I’m not saying they healed my anxiety, but I’m also not not saying that. Taco Loco: come hungry, leave reborn.”

“Kenny was our Cook & Destiny our Server today. As travelers we arrived in the middle of the night. It was as though a night club closed and they all left hungry. Every table & the bar filled up all at once. I’ve never seen a Cook do what Kenny did tonight. He prepared every plate beautifully, correctly & quick. He remained on top of his game with an understanding kindness towards our server. Destiny, our server, was sweet and we didn’t want for a single thing. We sat at a table between chili side of the restaurant & the front door. We could see the expressions of disappointment as people came in to a packed restaurant. They knew they’d have to wait until someone finished eating. Once they walked in, their expressions lined up with the calm tone set by Kenny’s mannerisms. We were very impressed. We ordered chili, cheeseburger & a big breakfast plate. We also had coffee & water. Our drinks stayed full & our food served hot. I hope upper management will look at the security footage between 12am-1am. It would be an excellent training video for other restaurants. The crowd control these two managed while cooking and serving is to be appreciated.”

“Captain ds was once the most expensive restaurant u could eat at now its cheaper to get a combo from there than from Hardee's McDonald's or any other fast food restaurant I paid 11 bucks for the captains feast the most expensive single person combo and it was delicious except the crab cake it was soggy but fresh needed to cook a bit longer but other than that the food was great and the value was good. If this stay this way captain ds will be a good choise”

“This was the nastiest food I've had in awhile. Hard as rock chicken, cold limp fries. Not even sweet tea. No matter what time someone comes thru u should always have fresh food”

“Great place to get your diesel fuel or gas (use Wildcat Pump for gas) as part goes to high school. Also, great place for drinks and snacks.”
