7 Best Pizza Restaurants near Franklin

“Was in the area while touring the National. Corvette Museum needed something to do and I had never done a distillery tour so I found this place. Really was not what I was expecting. I drove passed it had to turn around. If you go here you will know why it was so easy to miss.

DO NOT LET THE OUTSIDE OF THIS BUILDING FOOL YOU. if you do you will miss out on a really good small distillery with a bartender (I can’t call him that) a mixologist who knows his products and how to make a really well made cocktail. This place was really a nice stop a place to relax share some good drinks. Oh and by the way they are more than happy to show you how and where what you are enjoying is made.

Really need to name our mixologist and tour guide at this point Zac. It was a Sunday so by law they were not distilling any alcohol. We started with an adult beverage named the Re-Roasted. What a presentation well mixed and then smoked finished with a torched orange peel. This was the kind of drink that will just take you away and get you in trouble if you’re not careful. I was driving so I had to keep my head on straight but I could have easily just spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in this place getting lost. Oh wait I did but I kept my alcohol intake to two beverages.

Now my partner in crime my son he was a passenger so he could try out a couple more of Zack’s skills. I sampled those and found them also to be outstanding. Then my son ordered the Spicy Old Fashioned. Now I am a chili head and enjoy spicy foods and beverages. But this while good was SPICY. So you have been warned.

Then came his third a Kentucky Mule. I had never had a Mule before but like with the old fashioned I sampled this beverage as well. Remember I am trying to be the responsible one. I sampled this and I had to have one. This was my second beverage over a 4 hour period. For my first mule I picked a very well made version. As my son said if this is your first one it’s all downhill from this point as this was a well made beverage by his standards.

We ended up closing the place down that day and headed off to dinner. Wait I almost forgot to tell you about the distillery tour. Zack was our tour guide for this part. He explained the entire process to us and showed off the still and bottling station. The Linkumpinch Bourbon that is made here is really a well made small batch product. They even hand bottle the product four bottles at a time.

To show how small this distillery is we met the owner who i assume is also the master distiller, and his banker and other friends of his in the distilling area. Before we left I Zack allowed me to sample all three bourbons they had for sale. I choose to take home the 6 year old special edition. I thought so Mark thank you for making such I great product. I will only allow this bottle out in the wild for very special occasions. I thought so much of Mark’s handiwork I asked his to autograph the bottle for me. I will visit again.“

“Good service pizza came out perfect. Good soft crust, the toppings were portioned very well and veggies soft and not hard which is the way I like them to be. Clean atmosphere employees were very nice and friendly. Good parking not to busy around 4pm.“

“Great place to get your diesel fuel or gas (use Wildcat Pump for gas) as part goes to high school. Also, great place for drinks and snacks.“

“Place frequent orders with them. with the majority of the drivers on a first-name basis. Fast delivery and consistently hot dishes are standard. (I always give the driver a gratuity as well). It takes forever only until the door dash delivers. for they are unable to continue without assistance. Frequently, employees from other establishments are required to work there. Service is decent overall. The food is also delicious.“

“Most of the time the pizze is perfect. Sometimes the dough isn't cooked quite to my liking but I always get exactly what I want and it's a quiet little restaurant. Not busy any time I go and the manager is pretty nice but also quiet to match the “
