“Good service pizza came out perfect. Good soft crust, the toppings were portioned very well and veggies soft and not hard which is the way I like them to be. Clean atmosphere employees were very nice and friendly. Good parking not to busy around 4pm.“

“Great place to get your diesel fuel or gas (use Wildcat Pump for gas) as part goes to high school. Also, great place for drinks and snacks.“

“Place frequent orders with them. with the majority of the drivers on a first-name basis. Fast delivery and consistently hot dishes are standard. (I always give the driver a gratuity as well). It takes forever only until the door dash delivers. for they are unable to continue without assistance. Frequently, employees from other establishments are required to work there. Service is decent overall. The food is also delicious.“

“🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Taste of History at Dueling Grounds Distillery – Where Bourbon and Legend Meet
Hidden in the peaceful hills of Franklin, Kentucky, Dueling Grounds Distillery offers more than just bourbon—it offers a story. During my visit, I not only tasted quality small-batch spirits, but also stood on ground steeped in American history.
What sets this distillery apart is its deep connection to the historic Linkumpinch Farm, once one of the most infamous dueling sites in the southern U.S. In the early 1800s, this was where gentlemen settled matters of honor with pistols at dawn. The name “Dueling Grounds” isn’t just branding—it’s rooted in the very soil beneath your feet.
The distillery embraces this legacy with pride. Their flagship Linkumpinch Bourbon is named after the historic farm, a double pot-distilled bourbon that’s full-bodied, bold, and just a little rebellious—much like the men who once met here under the morning mist. The spirit itself is rich with notes of spice, caramel, and oak, reflecting the craftsmanship behind every barrel.
The tour was cozy and personal, led by staff who clearly love what they do. The tasting room, though small, had character—and the gift shop offers a great selection of bottles and Kentucky-made goods. I especially enjoyed sipping a bourbon cocktail on the patio, imagining the echoes of history all around.
While it’s a modest site, there’s something truly powerful about standing in a place where legends once stood—and then raising a glass to the past.
Final Thoughts
Dueling Grounds Distillery may not be flashy, but it offers an experience full of soul, story, and strong Kentucky character. If you're a history lover, bourbon fan, or someone looking for a meaningful stop along the Bourbon Trail, this place deserves your time.“
