“Just ate dinner after a friend recommended this restaurant. It was delicious. I had pulled pork nachos with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. Really good ! We’re anxious to go back and try the ribs. Our waitress was so nice but I didn’t catch her name. A very good eating out experience.”

“Just a heads up, so as to not be confused like we were. This restaurant is located inside the lodge/hotel. It is open to the public. We dined in for breakfast. It was good food, and the service was friendly as well.”

“First, the service was top notch, the waitress was absolutely amazing, present, and attentive. The food was very good. And you get a lot of it. Everything wqs delicious except the steak my date ordered. He said it was prepared very well with great seasoning & cooked exactly as he ordered, but said the cut of meat was lower quality. Their coleslaw, black beans, and collard greens were amazing. The hush puppies were good, nothing to rave about but tasty and not overdone.”

“If you’re within 50 miles of Benton, Kentucky heck, even 100 do yourself a favor and get to this little slice of heaven: a small, family-owned diner that completely stole my heart and appetite. I stumbled upon it by chance and ended up eating there four days in a row. Not once did I repeat a meal, and not once was I anything less than blown away. Every dish was a knockout, but two things deserve their own spotlight: the hush puppies and the smoked meatloaf. The hush puppies are crispy, golden bites of joy perfectly seasoned, not greasy, and made with love you can taste. But the smoked meatloaf? That’s in a league of its own. It’s got that perfect smoky flavor, tender as a brisket, I’d drive the full 50 miles just for that. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, Billy walks out with dessert. I’m convinced he’s got magic in those hands because his desserts aren’t just the best in the county, they’re the best in Kentucky. Homemade pies, cakes. each one better than the last. If you go and don’t save room for dessert, you’re doing it wrong. What really made this place special, though, was the people. The staff treated me like family from the moment I walked in. They remembered my name, asked about my day, and made me feel like I was more than just a customer, I was a guest at their table. The warmth and hospitality here is something you don’t find often, and it’s genuine. So here’s the deal: if you’re anywhere near Benton, make the trip. This diner isn’t just a place to eat it’s an experience, a memory. I’ll be back every chance I get.”

We both had the FAJITAS RANCHERAS and it was incredibly delicious! The portions were very generous and sizzling hot when they arrived. We will definitely stop here again.”
