Mud Pies is a family-run gem in the Kentucky countryside, right on the side of the road, if you’re willing to go off the beaten path. It is a hidden gem with amazing food and a laid-back vibe. The restaurant has a clean old school drive in type restaurant vibe. The service is kind, professional, and friendly. The food is delicious, including an incredible vanilla milkshake, a hot fudge Sundae, and the PB and J in a cup. Everything is good. The atmosphere is super cute, and the place is very clean and well priced, though some find it a little pricey. Whether dining in or grabbing take-out, Mud Pies offers flavorful dishes and delicious desserts. It is a must-visit roadside spot.
