“We hosted a get together here and had a great time! Candace was so great to work with prior to the event and helped us organize drink tickets and a space for us for food. The day of the event, Brandy and Tommy (the bartenders) took great care of us and made sure everyone had a great time. This place is a hidden gem up on the hill with great staff, great bar selections, and a great atmosphere! We will be back.“

“Peewee's Place was a little greasy spoon we recently visited in Crescent Springs. It was a bar/grill type olace that had a pretty decent sized menu of various things from burgers to hoagies to wraps and all sorts of other bar food. We started off with some Tater Skins that were loaded with bacon and cheese with sour cream for dipping. Very good balance of toppings and the skins were perfectly cooked and made for a very good appetizer. I tried a couple of different things off their menu for my main course starting with some wings (shocking I know for those that know me). I tried 2 kinds of sauces 1 their XXX Boot Scootin (their hottest one) and the other "Newt" (spicy bbq). Their Boot Scootiin one definitely brought some heat which I appreciated and had stellar flavour as well. The Newt was a good version of a Spicy bbq although of these 2 I preferred the Boot Scootin. As good as the sauces were unfortunately the wings themselves were overcooked and quite dry which was disappointing because those sauces were some of the better wing sauces I've had in a while. I also tried some Buffalo Chicken Rolls (thing egg rolls but with Buffalo Chicken filling). These were unique and fairly good although I feel they kinda held back on the Buffalo flavour (would really like to try it with either the Boot Scootiin or Newt sauces). Most of what I had here was average to good but I believe that they the potential to be better. The service was fine and the restaurant looked good. I'll be back to try some other dishes coming up soon particularly their burgers.“

The owners were very attentive to our order mishap and had assured us our order would be hot and prepared as requested. The food was delicious and you now have our forever patronage. “This is a great neighborhood bar everybody makes you feel welcome. The food is good comfort type food proportions are good prices are reasonable. The coolest thing about this location is the music they bring in some great musicians. It's a small venue which sometimes makes it hard to watch the musicians but you can hear fine from anywhere in the bar. We visit the location frequently.“

“It was really busy for a Tuesday. Our food was excellent. Our waiter was good. Two comments to make: our poor waiter was stretched thin. Only 2 people were working to take orders. Second, the one good thing about the pandemic was the space between tables. Not any more. My husband and I got to listen to the conversations on both sides of us. Getting in and out was a struggle not to knock into our neighboring tables.“

“Stumbled in this small corner local bar/restaurant.l after a Drs appointment down the street. Convenient on street parking til 3, weekdays. Parking lot in rear. Limited menu to keep costs down with daily specials. Service was very friendly. Prices were excellent. Party rooms for large groups. And they had Guinness!

“I've been a fan of Local Post since they first opened, and they never disappoint. My most recent visit was on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, where I enjoyed the patio and the rare treat of a weekday brunch. As someone with a nontraditional schedule, I love that they offer brunch during the week! Though I didn’t see a Bloody Mary on the menu, the bartender went above and beyond to make me one, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. I also ordered the brunch fries, which were spot-on. The service was outstanding—friendly, accommodating, and they really made me feel at home. The laid-back atmosphere and great vibes make Local Post a go-to spot for me.“

“Hidden gem. Very good food, well seasoned and large portions. No real fajita or nacho options, which forced us try something new. Chimichanga and quesadilla la cumbre were excellent. Almost no one there so we parked right outside the door. Service was good and friendly. Minus one star because the menu prices weren't correct. We'll definitely be back.“

“Our first time visiting! Both bartenders were super nice and welcoming! Drinks were great and the wings were killer! We also tried some fries and a spicy pizza roll all which were amazing! I’m a huge ranch gal and there’s was top tier! Loves the environment and was served super fast! We will for sure be back!“

“This was an awesome laid back place on the river. Staff was super friendly, the owner was friendly, everyone was working their butss off. There is plenty of space if you have a big group. You can dock and get food also. Food was good. Their Cincinnati chili is legit and definitely worth making a trip here for. Watch the hill on the way in and out. It's a bit steep!

Parking: It is at the top of the hill so you have to go down the steps or the ramp in and out.“

“I’ll be honest it’s not a bad spot to drink at and the owner has always been super kind to me. The food is decent and I’d recommend getting the platter after drinking on a night out if the friers are still on. I personally get the chicken tenders with nacho cheese and the occasional mozzarella sticks. Karaoke is fun and I’ve been a pool shark since mid-college. Rom even taught me how to play pool! Location was such a huge thing for me back then and it was a prime bar living in Aspen Pines. Now I unfortunately do not approve of certain things and numerous people who they chose to keep and allow to work behind the bar top. Especially with their track records. It is still a dive/pool bar at the end of the day so I just choose to avoid it at all costs now. As I was told as a little girl “birds of a feather do flock together.” which just means I’m just not in the same flock as them and I am A-OKAY with that currently. Plus there are plenty of other bars to attend in both Ohio and KY. It’s just a shame because I did really like it at one point in time. 💙 Just know if you’re down for a good time they do know how to party and I will always root for them at a safe distance. “How can I make you understand in depth how great this place was!. I didn't even mean to stop in this place! I was headed to get food for myself. I saw this little joint with a back porch, camping type pavilion attached to a little oblong brick building that just looked like it wasn't for me.This place...It doesn't scream or pop out at you. It looks like it would be in one of my friends yard behind his house on the side of his garage.As I walked by....and past it, I saw "great food"!! In big letters painted on the side of the building. So I tryd em!... lol to see if they knew what they were talking about!.I serve my lord Jesus and don't really drink but I came for the food! And to test its words painted on the side of the building.Every one was nice! Everything was comfortable, everyone cared!... everyone knew each other and everyone let's you be!.... I couldn't belive it! I found a place to go be and eat and they let you be....if you leave hostility, hatred, ugly ness, and a disrespectful attitude at door..... You will have no problems here! I loved the people, I fell in love with the place!, you can be who you are! I think it's encouraged and probably the only way this bar and grill will have you.As soon as I came in, there was a veteran, and two others at the bar with a classic western playing on the tv and two sweethearts behind the bar.... it was laid back and quite for a Tuesday afternoon.During happy hr domestic beer is 2:50$ and I got a great double mushroom cheese burger for 6$The lighting was perfect! ....For a bar/grill. Right lighting with lamp and neon lights scattered throughout the restaurant and bar! The lights mixed well with the atmosphere splashing and filling up color, mood, and lighting over all the creveses, nooks, and crannys of the spaces in the restaurant bar and grill. If you want a bar and grill out of the movies... Here it is! I loved the assortment of signs, billboards, slogans and pic's all over the walls....Well I tell you the food was off the chain!. The hospitality on point and the price is right. it does not hit your pocket at all. The food says to the money! Get out of here.....I always am looking for a place to eat drink and socialize in peace, and in prosperity. to be myself at the end of the day!!!!....Besides Christ my lord and savior I Just want good food, at a great price! When I go out to eat!. I got more than that at jds honky tonk and emporium! “Our 10th wedding anniversary was last Friday, 9/20/24, and I can not imagine a better way to have celebrated than the evening we spent here. From the low-lit, rustic atmosphere to the comfy chairs, you are encouraged to relax and unwind from the time you walk through the doors - just what we needed after our long days at work. The crab cake appetizer and both meals (pork chop for me, Trifecta burger for Hubs) were absolutely divine, and fabulous service was provided by the very entertaining Tim and his assistant, whose name I sadly am unable to recall a week later. I can say he was a fine young man who rolled right along with the flow of things and kept pace with Tim like a seasoned pro! We thoroughly enjoyed everything, and we will definitely be back soon!!“
