“Smokey Bones is an oldie but goodie. Haven't been to one in a decade cuz didn't have one nearby. The mini nacho app was delicious and presented nicely. Chips were standing up. Looked like they had yummy cocktails but we didn't have any. We ordered the "grill" meal. It's literally served on a small grill that has charcoal in it and smoking. So cool. Had bbq ribs, chicken wings, grilled chicken, saisafe and steak. Small pieces. Nice to share! Also had wedge potatoes, peppers and onions. In the middle of grill was bowl of delicious sauce (not one of 4 found on table). Good value for that. Waitress was perfunctory not overly friendly. Nice and neat inside“

“Today, I visited this location with my team from work. The food was amazing. I tried the pulled chicken, pulled pork, smoked sausage and brisket sliders. I also got a side of fries and baked beans. Starting with the sliders, they were all delicious. The pulled pork slider was quite tender. It was more tender than the pulled chicken. The pulled chicken tasted was a touch dry, but still quite good. I am not one who cares when their food touches so I added some of the baked beans on top. Fantastic decision on my part. That will be something I try in the future. The smoked sausage was interesting. If you'd blindfolded me and told me to guess the protein, I would not have said smoked sausage. I think that speaks more to my weak palette than the food itself. The smoked sausage was phenomenal. I think I'm too well acquainted with frozen or pre-packaged smoked sausage. The brisket was brisket. We love brisket. Tender, juicy and good. That fries are well seasoned. The portion serving on the fries blew my mind. It was a full basket. That's the way I like my portions. The waitress was great. The food arrived quickly. Overall, fantastic meal.Parking: The parking lot definitely needs a re-layout of the parking tape.“
“I and a friend had dinner on Sunday , the 7th of January. The waiter didn't have any personality at all. He should be trained on what is on the menu and the drink list. Asked for water and had to again after several minutes. the didn't have a Wood ridge cab in stock.I asked for a 6oz any cab. He gave me an 9 oz. We both asked for med rare, she got and mine was close to medium. I will say the both were very good, The salads were excellent. the price was reasonable. I would go again.“

“My wife told me about Noche and we have been trying to make time to go there for months. The wait was well worth it! We had patio seating. The weather was ideal and the seating was comfortable. The brisket was delicious and the plantains were out-of-this-world good. Our server, Jeremy was OUTSTANDING. He made sure we were taken care of, and was very pleasant. “The ribs are great but I'm a brisket man. You really need to get both and enjoy. I'm from Texas so the bar b que sauce is not my cup of tea but the vinegar base one for the pork is good.Parking: Make sure and use your GPS because you may some time pass the entrance. Once there plenty of parking.“
“We went to 3rd Turn Oldham specifically to try Backside's pizza of the week: caramelized onion, bacon and gouda. It did not disappoint. The food here is always on point. The brussels will forever call to me, and the grilled cheese with bourbon bbq brisket is amazing. My sister ordered the salmon and I was unsure (not exactly "bar food"), but it was delicious... especially the whipped sweet potatoes. It's lovely to be able to enjoy delicious food along with the beer and mead options on the same premises!“
“Wow!!! This place is amazing! This has to be some of the best BBQ I have ever had in my life. I got the chipped brisket sandwich, some of the best baked beans in my life with some apple crumble. WOW! Delicious to say the least, I also got two wings as well since they were the special of the day, the dry rub on them was amazing. The employees were so nice and helpful for this first timer. “If you love great barbecue, this restaurant should be on your list. I tried the pulled pork sandwich. First let me say, the portion was generous, the meat was piled high on the toasted bun. I added the original bbq sauce, but there are several heat levels when it comes to sauces. Next the sides, I had the creamy coleslaw, which by the way is shredded not chopped (my preference) let me just say it was delicious. My second side was the collard greens with pork seasoning, totally delicious with a little bite. All of the sides offered look amazing. The choices of meats, sides, and yes fresh baked sweet cornbread is also a side. The Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dining in there are plenty of tables. Parking is more than ample. I totally recommend this restaurant for it delicious food and the prices are more than reasonable for the food portions. I hope you go and enjoy the food as much as I did. “Well done, it's how I like my steak and a lot of places can not do a well done steak they think it mean shoe leather how ever that not the case. This location does a well done steak correctly still juicy and no pink. Amazing. The staff is just as good. My server Caitlen went above and beyond making sure we had bread, (delicious) refills, was kind and professional check to make sure the food was correct and had flow which made it seem easy even though she was manging multiple tables. She made sure my special need child was comfortable and had everything he needed. Well done.“
“I had the most amazing snow crab boil for 31.99 and since I had never been there I thought there was no way that it could fill me up so I ordered a perch dinner also. I was so full from the crab I barely touched my perch dinner. What I did eat of the perch dinner it was just as fabulous as the crab meal. Solid fan!!!!! Great service and conversation. “We waited for about 30 minutes for a table and then sat at a table that had been open the entire time. Our food took way too long to get, everyone around us, even people who came in after us had their food, and our orders came out wrong after waiting forever. The waitress acted like we were lying about our missing sides. Did she even write our order down?“
“Ordered a package for 20. Food was excellent except the meats. Wish someone would have called me. Chicken and pork were VERY DISSSPOINTING. Expected more smokehouse taste which neither had. The chicken was in hunks and not shredded. Most of all the pork was the bottom of the barrel with hard tough peices. 3 of my best friends told me that the pork was dissapointing and the quality was terrible and I do agree. For my $200 I EXPECTED BETTER QUALITY and if that is what is served on their normal pork sandwiches I am so glad that I never had one. Btw the buns were molded on day #3-- so glad that hubby noticed as he was going to make a sandwiich..bad quality. The chicken oasta salad had hard dark chunks of chicken-- otherwise it was good...green beans and apples were awesome. Again highly embarrassed that meats didn't wow me and quality was bad..“
“My friend and I were having a craving for BBQ so I looked on the Facebook group, Louisville Takeout and a lot of people recommended FDKY and I ran with that. Everyone who recommended it was right, is some of the best BBQ in the area.When you walk in you're greeted by fire fighter/department attire and theme, which I'm glad they did because it just invites you in. I was trying to take it all in and the ambiance was set but not overly done.The menu is pretty simple. A little pricy but what BBQ place isn't pricey? This was a locally owned place so I had no qualms about the pricing. They have options for pulled pork, chicken, etc. We went during Lent season so they also had fish available.I got the brisket sandwich with loaded fries and a large drink. I originally wanted the ribs however they were sold out at the time so if you are wanting ribs, I'd try to get there earlier than we did (roughly around 6pm ish) to ensure you get them. It's my only real complaint, which is minor. My friend ordered the nachos.When our food came out I was blown away with how big her nachos were for the price. It was well worth the price and then some for what she paid. She enjoyed it and nearly devoured it all. My brisket was really good, better than most other brisket I have had. Wasn't fatty and really tender. It practically melted in your mouth and BBQ sauce. Highly recommend it. The loaded fries paired well with the meat as well. I would have liked a slice or two more of the brisket but again, another minor thing.Overall it's a wonderful place to eat, maybe bring a friend or 3 to catch up with and enjoy the nice ambiance with good food. Can't enjoy it inside? They have a drive thru as well.“
“Best Barbecue Around!!! My husband and I are here visiting family and had received a recommendation from a local 4th grade schoolteacher for Doc’s. We had the dinner for 2 with ribs, wings and pulled pork with 4 sides…I think it was $33 or something close to that. I’d only had a bowl of cereal and was super hungry and this food hit the spot. The server, who said he also cooks the meat, was very good and attended to our needs without us saying anything. Needless to say, we took about half of our meal home with us, and it was just as good the next day. I can be critical if it’s warranted, but this was a pleasant experience and we will go again.“
